Your WORD is your WAND!!

Hello, -- Pioneering Minister and New Thought Teacher, Florence Scovel Shinn, offers an interesting and refreshing view of Jesus as a Metaphysician. She believed that Jesus was teaching about mastering the mind as a means to mastering creation. Her collection of four works, offer inspiration and education:

A sample affirmation regarding debt (slightly modified) -

"I deny debt. There is no debt in the Divine Mind. No-one owes me anything and I owe no-one anything. All is fair and square."

I find that I modify many of the affirmations to update some words and sentiments ( she was creating these affirmations in the late 1800's and early 1900's) to be in perfect resonance with my intentions, but the understandings she gives are irreplaceable in the study of Mind Mastery. My favorite way to use these affirmations is to choose one, then repeat it quietly or in my head as I go for a walk. By the time I return from walking, I have repeated the affirmation 800-1000 times. THIS IS AN AMAZINGLY POWERFUL PRACTICE.
