1. Mercury retrograde opportunities

 

Free flow with no agenda, laid back vacation schedule, staycations, hobbies, leaving room for fun surprise options, reorganizing, clearing and cleaning, writing and other arts, hobbies, reaping rewards of past efforts, business as usual, inner work, studying, learning, teaching, reconnecting with friends and family, especially ones you haven’t seen in a while. Retrogrades are also amazing for bringing us RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW since future planning doesn’t tend to flow well anyway.

 

Basically things that are low stakes or short-term are best indicated for Sept. 7 - Nov. 3. As October progresses, the potentials for long-term things to lock in place increase. The last week of October holds extra promise for these types of things!

 

LEAVE YOUR SCHEDULE LIGHT FOR LAST-MINUTE MAGIC! (This theme is continued through October from September).

 

2. Opening up of last big launch window for the rest of 2021

 

Open flow, momentum, fruition for making and following through with plans, ideas, big decisions and anything else of major importance starting towards the end of October and especially through November 17.

 

~ Opening before Venus retro shadow (starts November 18) and eclipse time

 

~ Pluto goes direct around October 6 (it was retro since April) Jupiter and Saturn going direct - both around October 18 (Jupiter went retro in June and Saturn went retro in May) - THESE HEAVY HITTER OUTER PLANETS GOING DIRECT WILL WAKE UP MANY THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN QUIET and DORMANT!

 

 

Venus retrograde cycle - Mid November 2021 to early March 2022

 

November 18 ~ Venus retrograde pre-shadow period ~

Venus retro 26° of Capricorn ~ December 19, 2021 - January 29, 2022

Venus post-transit shadow ~ January 30, 2022 - March 2, 2022

 

Eclipses - Eclipse season starts in early October (because the season begins around 4-6 weeks BEFORE the first eclipse in the series)

 

November 19, 2021 ~ Lunar Eclipse at 27° of Taurus - new cycle that runs from now until the end of 2023

 

December 4, 2021 ~ Solar Eclipse at 12° of Sagittarius - ending of cycle that began around March 2020 and ends in early January 2022.

 

 

 

3.  Strong energy in Libra and Scorpio

 

Libra and Scorpio are the two relationship signs so these are still going to be in the spotlight, this theme began in September and continues through October and beyond. Things from the past are more likely to show again. This can bring happiness from the past or going back to things you and your partner used to love to do, or can bring love interests back into the picture. Collaborating and finding perfect helpers will be well-supported at this time.

 

 

4. Venus in Sagittarius (this adds to the Sadge energy rolling in from the last part of the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse cycle discussed above)

 

This burst of Sagittarius helps to lighten the mood, add a spark of fire to the water mood brought by Scorpio, and some action to the mental chatter of Libra energies.

 

 

 

What to look out for (Super-Hero opportunities):

 

1. Many more salty transits as sweet ones

 

More salty aspects than sweet ones could be a nuisance but there are still a ton of sweet aspects to help bolster and offset challenges that may come.

 

~ Lots of inconjunct aspects, especially with Uranus

Jolts and unwelcome surprises

 

These combined with Mercury retro really make us pay attention when we are trying to force something that isn’t flowing. Save yourself the frustration and see the signs of when to let up before you lose too much energy to it. The latter part of the month should start to bring more clarity and direction.

 

2. Mercury Retrograde Challenges

 

Lack of clarity, changes to things that seemed set, uncertainty about present or future, miscommunications, electronics or other items breaking down

 

3. Strong Libra and Scorpio influences

 

Arguments, feeling pulled between what you need and others expectations

 

Jealousy and power struggles, money issues, intimacy challenges

 

3. Eclipse Rumblings

 

The eclipses can be either super positive, superbly challenging, or both, but something that happens consistently during eclipse season is the feeling of being anxious and overstimulated, sleeplessness, and uncertainty.

 

 

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 28, and 31

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, and 30.

October 1 -- Mars in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries -- Mercury in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn --  You may find yourself seeking confrontation, which may be motivated by a desire to challenge one or more current systems of belief, or it may be motivated by a set of unresolved insecurities. Sometimes confrontation is necessary, but when governed by insecurities, or enacted through anger, it can harm more than it heals. Just be sure to remember that this desire is most usefully directed inwards.  Might there be a system of belief, or a set of habits that you are currently struggling to maintain at your own expense?  If this is at all the case, begin by confronting any imbalances at that level. 

October 2 -- Venus in Scorpio Sextile Pluto in Capricorn -- This day could bring great passion and good fortune. Your powers of attraction are heightened, and your personal presence is powerful. Being available for social interactions could present opportunities.

October 3 -- Sun in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries -- Mercury in Libra Trine Jupiter in Aquarius --  With the Sun opposing Chiron between Libra and Aries, you may feel disinclined to carry your own burdens, or confront your own blind spots under this influence.  You may even feel tempted to project the wounds you carry onto others in an effort to postpone the ordeal of healing them, if only for a moment. Fortunately, this trine between Mercury and Jupiter will inspire optimism, expand your creative problem solving abilities,  and boost your confidence. It will be up to you.  Choose the gift of the trine over the temptation of the opposition.

October 5 -- Mercury in Libra Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces -- Inconjunct aspects. See ** below for details.

October 6 -- New Moon at 13° of Libra -- Mars in Libra Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus -- Sun in Libra Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus -- The New Moon in Libra is giving you the opportunity to imagine how you might bring more beauty and balance into your life.  It is the perfect time to question your own habitual behavior, and look for ways you might bring extremes back into a reasonable, functional middle ground. October 7 - 8 -- Sun in Libra Conjunct Mars in Libra -- This transit is likely to give you a major boost of courage, which you can use to ensure success in just about any area of your life, but it is important to refrain from overestimating your abilities, or your authority. Confidence and optimism are wonderful gifts, but in excess they can lead to arrogance, or overstepping. If you keep unwarranted assumptions at bay, and maintain reasonable behavior, this transit will prove to be a very positive and creative force. You might even have some fun with it. 

October 9 -- Sun Conjunct Mercury in Libra -- Mercury Conjunct Mars in Libra -- These two transits work together to boost your thinking power, and acting power. You will be highly competent, capable, and coherent. You express yourself efficiently, with great tonality and charm. However, there is again the risk of overestimating your own authority, and overstepping.  Don't forget that other people are bringing their own unique gifts to the table, some offering what you cannot. The power and value of humility shine brightest in moments like this.

October 10 -- Saturn Goes Direct --  As Saturn finally resumes its journey forward, you can begin putting your newfound karmic wisdom into practice.  You have the opportunity to demonstrate your readiness to be free from certain self-limiting beliefs, which have undoubtedly been the subject of this retrograde cycle. Business ventures may start to zoom forward now.

October 11- 12 -- Mercury in Libra Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus -- Inconjunct aspects. See ** below for details.

October 13 -- Venus in Sagittarius Sextile Saturn in Aquarius -- During this transit, you are controlled, focused, persistent, and reasonable. You may discover a number of ways you can make life easier, simpler, and more efficient.  Ways you might remove yourself from the front lines of the battle, and afford yourself some extra space in which you can indulge in a bit of earned laziness.

October 15 -- Sun in Libra Trine Jupiter in Aquarius -- This transit expands your sense of well-being, increases your vitality, and makes success easier to imagine and therefore realize. This can also boost your social graces, and expose you to people of good reputation who wish the best for you.

October 16 -- Venus in Sagittarius Trine Chiron in Aries -- Mars in Libra Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces -- Mercury in Libra Sextile Venus in Sagittarius --  As Venus Trines Chiron, you may find it easier to step outside of an outdated relationship story, and find the means through which you can heal an old wound, expanding your personal power in result. With Mercury in Libra Sextile Venus in Sagittarius joining in on the action, you can be especially conscious of this process, so you can more easily and reliably  repeat it in the future. October 17-18 -- Jupiter Goes Direct -- Mercury Goes Direct -- Sun in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn -- Mars in Libra Trine Jupiter in Aquarius -- With both Jupiter and Mercury going direct in tandem with a trine between Mars and Jupiter, all systems are go for launch, prepare for lift-off! These cosmic bodies are conspiring to flood you with energy, happiness, and a desire to boldly set out to create your good fortune.  However, it is important to remember that it takes a little time for the chaos of the shadow periods to subside, and you cannot overlook the square between the Sun and Pluto, which has the potential to push you to act rashly, prematurely, or recklessly. Sometimes it is best to sit with our feelings for a while, and practice patience as we take our time to sort out the best way to channel them constructively. Jupiter going direct can bring more optimism and a rushing forward of anything in the Sagittarius ruler-ship, such as teaching, learning, travel, foreign languages and cultures, spiritual pursuits, writing, publishing, and speaking.

October 19 -- Venus in Sagittarius Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus -- Inconjunct aspects. See ** below for details.

October 21-22 -- Mars in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn -- It may feel as though this square were tempting you to lose control, to speak or act offensively, or to indulge in your most vulgar or ruthless desires. You may also feel spells of envy, or feel the need to lash out against the pockets of perfect order in your life, wherever you see find them, if only to watch the raw power of chaos do what it does. While it is essential for each of us to develop a refined relationship with the chaos within, needless to say, it would be best to refrain from amplifying this inner chaos to the level of external action.

October 24 -- Mercury in Libra Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus -- Inconjunct aspects. See ** below for details.

October 26 -- Venus in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces --  You may find that you are having inconsistent feelings regarding love and romance during this transit. This could arise in the form of a simultaneous desire for complete independence and committed intimacy. Perhaps the best way to make sense of this is through some form of artistic or and/or spiritual practice, whereby you can briefly step out of your own way, and allow yourself to be animated by a higher power.

October 28 -- Venus in Sagittarius Sextile Jupiter in Aquarius -- This transit inspires great social harmony, and makes opportunities for growth at the individual and relational levels more available. This is another one of those potent transits you will not want to sit out, so get out there and feel the love! Travel, publishing, and education projects may light up beautifully at this time.

October 30 -- Sun in Scorpio Square Saturn in Aquarius -- Mercury in Libra Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces -- If uncertainty, insecurity, or shyness arises at this time, don't let it interfere with your professional life.  Remember that such feelings are mere fleeting responses to a passing Astrological influencer. Try not to let yourself be ruled by any perceptions of personal limitations, either through tany attempt to overcompensate, or through the corrosive power of self-limiting thoughts. October 31 -- Mercury in Libra Trine Jupiter in Aquarius -- This second trine between Mercury and Jupiter will thankfully be free of the opposition between the Sun and Chiron, and will purely inspire optimism, expand your creative problem solving abilities,  and boost your confidence. If you let it, this can be an extremely inspiring and enlightening Halloween. Have fun!

**INCONJUNCT ASPECTS ~ Listed for many dates above … These connections bring awkwardness and confusion. Mixed signals could make direction and decisions unclear. They often come with the feeling of being ‘off’, like something is wrong but you can’t quite put your finger on what. The annoyance of these aspects usually passes quickly but actions taken within the chaos cloud can bring longer-term challenges. If you are not clear and can postpone action, that could be the best course until clarity returns.
