~ Areas of life that had been expanding rapidly from Jupiter could lose some steam or move to your inner world or behind the scenes. Don’t worry! Jupiter is still hard at work trying to make your big dreams come true. The outcomes may take a few months to be evident but much is going on behind the scenes.

 

~ Projects that you were working on, especially regarding immigration, international travel or business, language learning, education or teaching, could either stall out or start manifesting quickly and easily from past work done in these areas.

 

~ Strong Leo energy can bring issues with pride, yours or others. Someone might be fixed into a position and cause conflict on account of it. That someone might be you. Seek win-win’s and conquer all challenges.

 

~ Strong Virgo energies can bring a critical eye, yours or someone else’s. If you find you are under scrutiny, look for the ways that the other person may be right and dissolve the tension with acknowledgement of the other persons position. August 1 - 2 — Venus in Capricorn Inconjunct Chiron in Aries —
Mercury in Leo Opposing Saturn in Aquarius — Sun in Leo Opposing Saturn in Aquarius — The inconjunction may push you to remedy the discomfort you are likely to feel in your physical body regarding your life purpose. There may be anxiety around your capacity to carry your responsibilities all the way through, and finish what you started, but the discomfort of this transit is likely to motivate you. As Mercury opposes Saturn, you may find yourself second guessing something or someone in which you have invested trust and confidence, and with the Sun opposing Saturn at the same time, you can expect this to manifest through a somewhat melancholy disposition. Whatever the case may be, these transits are meant to push you into greater order and fulfillment, so don’t let them get you down. *Inconjunct Aspects, see end of report for information about these

August 2 - 3 — Mercury in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries — Venus in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus — This time is meant to help you develop a deeper understanding of the psychological origins of many insecurities, weaknesses, or fears. It may help to have a deep conversation or two about these sensitive topics with someone you trust. With Venus trine Uranus, you have a keen sensitivity to love and compassion, which is likely to bring about spontaneous insights into possible solutions. This also can be an amazing time to lock in something important in the arenas of love or money.


August 3 — Mercury in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus — You may feel a bit scattered at this time. If you are sure about something, then press forward. If you need clarity before taking important steps, then take the time you need. Watch your words and actionscarefully, especially if you are feeling negative. Impulsive words or actions could create drama and interfere with your goals.


August 4 — Sun in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries — This transit gives you the courage to face your fears with great clarity.  Under this influence, you will not be facing such fears with any naive notions of invincibility, but with a keen understanding of your own vulnerability. Doing so shines a light on some of your best qualities. So don’t hide away! Great healing and transformation can occur with this aspect. The more you do to try to heal, the more of a breakthrough you may have.


August 6 — Sun in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus —  This is a day to guard against impulsiveness.  You may feel tempted to speak or act a little more boldly than you otherwise would, and people are likely to be more easily offended due to the same influence.


August 7 — Mercury in Leo Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces —  It may be difficult to imagine how the big picture is going to come together, so it is best not to waste time struggling to see it.  Instead, focus your creative energies more locally. Your biggest plans and furthest goals may seem difficult to see, so it is better to work on what you can see. *Inconjunct Aspects, see end of report for information about these transits


August 8 — New Moon at 16° of Leo — This is a wonderful time to let your imagination run wild, to creatively explore possibilities, and set your dreams in motion. There’s something very special about you, something that wants to make its way to center stage, and be recognized and appreciated by others, who will in turn be enriched and inspired by it. This day should be about the recognition of that special something, and the realization of how you might set it free. August 9 — Venus in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces —  Under the influence of this transit, there is a slight possibility that you could become strangely shy for a day, especially when it comes to intimacy, or creativity.  Alternatively, your awareness of these areas of life could simply shift into an unfamiliar yet comfortable state, in which the otherwise awkward energy is shifted into something manageable. Still, there remains the possibility of going a little too far, or getting caught up in the details of something that would normally be an effortless process. This aspect could bring in doubt or confusion but it will likely be short-lived.


August 10 — Mercury in Leo Opposing Jupiter in Aquarius — This transit sometimes makes people jump to conclusions too quickly, or even let confidential information slip without a second thought.  If you feel tempted to overstep in this way, keep in mind that you may find just as much satisfaction from doing so within the safety and privacy of your own mind.  You can use this energy for internal exploration, perhaps delving into literature, philosophy, or spiritual thought. There is a tendency to over-say, over-commit, or over-do with Jupiter oppositions. Keeping this in mind at this time could prevent issues.


August 11 — Venus in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn —  This transit brings passion, luck, connection, friendship, and attraction. You can use this to be successful in any area of your life, so make sure you do! I love this energy for launches or other important decisions. Since there are challenging aspects flanking this beautiful one, your resolve might be challenged but ideas and intentions that have sound potential will burn through these tests.


August 13 — Mars in Virgo Inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius —

August 18 — Mars in Virgo Inconjunct Chiron in Aries — Mercury in Virgo Inconjunct Chiron in Aries — Mercury Conjunct Mars in Virgo —  
The conjunction between Mercury and Mars in Virgo is likely to make you feel restless, impatient, or even intolerant.  You may feel as though you were being fed a steady adrenaline drip, and this is likely to keep your nose to the grindstone.  Fortunately, under this transit you can make notable progress in your life, so long as you refrain from making any rash judgements that would undermine your labors. *Inconjunct Aspects, see end of report for information about these


August 19 — Sun in Leo Opposing Jupiter in Aquarius — This transit has the capacity to bring vanity to the surface in a rather wasteful way. Therefore, it will be a good idea to resist the temptation to rebel, or to rail against the world in one way or another.  Instead, simply bring a little more order into your corner of the world, no matter how small it may be. Even straightening up your closet will put this raw energy to good use. Remember, if you are feeling too hot or cold, it is far wiser to change your own attire than subject everyone in the room to a dramatic change in temperature. Watch the tendency to over-promise and over-do now. You may need more sleep to counteract any excess.


August 20 — Mercury in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus — This transit offers a boost of creativity, innovation, unconventional thinking, and progressive ideas. You might feel a little like a puzzle solving machine. Applying this gift to an area of your life that has proven persistently problematic would be an excellent way to use it. I love this time for important decisions and launches.


August 21 - 22 — Mars in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus — This transit is all about spontaneous, yet technical progress, and serves as the powerful partner of the previous transit. If Mercury in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus is the brains of the operation, Mars in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus is the muscle, yet both contain the skillset of the other. It’s perfect really. I love this time for important decisions or launches. Actions taken at this time can have profound and positive long-term effects.


August 22 — Full Moon at 29° of Aquarius —  The second Full Moon in Aquarius this year, making it a BLUE MOON. This is when the work you have done around the intentions you set at the time of the new moon manifests in plain sight. If you tended to your intentions to the best of your ability, this could be a very fruitful time. Hidden things may come to light, and even if it brings high emotion, the cleansing and elucidating effects will be notable. There may be some tension between individualism and collectivism on or leading up to this day. August 23 — Venus in Libra Trine Saturn in Aquarius — You are very likely to act and speak with great precision under this transit. Also, you will be especially capable of honing in on the integrity of your character. Honesty and loyalty play a significant role at this time. You can do a great deal to invest in the quality of your reputation. I love this time for important launches or big decisions. Saturn’s presence adds to the likelihood of important long-term things being locked in now. Relationships and other interpersonal connections will be at the center of events now.


August 24 — Mercury in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces —  You may find that you easily become lost in your thoughts on this day, and this can make you come across as somewhat unreliable, or unreachable. However, your imagination and creative problem solving abilities will be turned up to the maximum. Therefore, it is best to work alone if you can, and develop plans, dreams and strategies to set into motion at another time.


August 26 — Venus in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries — Mercury in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn — This day is likely to bring about an intense awareness of something that needs to be brought back into balance. Pain often comes as a way of drawing our attention to the epicenter of a problem, but with sufficient knowledge, such pain is not needed. Tests regarding the me/we polarity will come up and great solutions can be forged. Fortunately, the trine between Mercury and Capricorn in the context of Venus opposing Chiron makes such knowledge more easily available, making this a potent time for personal development, rather than a mere correction, or return to balance. Go for it!

**Inconconjunct aspects bring awkwardness and the energy of two ships looking for each other but passing in the night, like some dots want to connect but can’t. They can bring stress but they can also force perspective shifts that create solutions after the annoyance.
