Here are some top points to know about July 2021 Astrology:

 

1. Mercury Retrograde in Gemini post-shadow period is clear July 8.
2. Afterquakes from the Eclipses are likely to echo throughout this month or new and major news could come still be coming in from the May and June Eclipses
3. Jupiter is still retrograde (until October)
4. Pluto Oppositions
5. Strong energy in Cancer
6. Strong energy in Leo
7. Twice as many salty transits as sweet ones
8. Oppositions with Jupiter could increase proneness to excess
9. Venus and Mars share a rare travel together in Leo!

~ Making plans will likely become easier in July, especially after the first week.

 

~ The opening for launches and clarity about moves, and other big decisions starts around July 8 and runs through around September 7. Clarity for planning and all topics related to the near and far future could get major support in this window.

 

~ Areas of life that had been expanding rapidly from Jupiter could lose some steam or move to your inner world or behind the scenes.

 

~ Projects that you were working on, especially regarding immigration, international travel or business, language learning, education or teaching, could either stall out or start manifesting quickly and easily from past work done in these areas.

 

~ Power struggles with self or others could burst in several times this month. If it is safe to speak up for yourself, try to work your charge on the topic out before sharing as it might be better received. If it is not safe to defend yourself, consider making a plan to create that safe space.

 

~ Home, family, ancestry, housing, real estate, working from home are all likely to come front and center into focus.

 

~ High emotion, for better or worse, is likely.

 

~ Creative juices will be stirred up in magical ways couple with open stars for launches and big decisions - a winning combination!

 

~ Topics of kids, creativity, romance and true love, hobbies, doing your hobbies for money, bucket list, and working on being seen or developing leadership skills, will all be increased in likelihood from the Leo energies. Venus and Mars are traveling close together for several weeks in Leo. This is rare and wonderful and will supercharged all of these Leo-related topics. It could be time to come out of the shadows, be bold, and show your stuff!

 

~ Twice as many salty aspects compared to sweet ones could mean that you have to work a little harder to get your goodies and remember resistance can be converted to forward movement (think tires gripping on the road - it is an uncomfortable interface but is part of making things go!)

 

~ Oppositions with Jupiter could bring proneness to excess which could be great fun, as long as it is safe and happy excess. Follow your gut if you feel you need to dial it back in any area.

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 13, 15, 20, and 24.

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 30.

July 1 — Mars in Leo Opposing Saturn in Aquarius —  This transit has the power to scatter your energy, driving you to fluctuate between bursts of hard work and extreme laziness.  It’s not always a bad thing to operate in this way, but if you want to refrain from making messes you will have to clean up later, it is a good idea think deeply on all that you do, and act thoroughly.

July 2 — Mars in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries — This transit is about taking action to heal old wounds. It might be a good idea to consider how you could use your creativity to make the act of tending to your physical health and well-being much more fun.

July 3 — Sun in Cancer Inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius — This transit has a way of bringing your attention to the little corrections you need to be making.  It is a great time for personal reflection regarding the tools you need to maintain inspiration, stability, comfort, health and purpose.

July 4 — Sun in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries — You may feel somewhat conflicted on this day, but not without good reason.  When the Sun squares Chiron, our personal wounds begin to interfere with our inner selves. Fortunately, this presents a wonderful opportunity for deep inner work and trauma resolution through. We can more easily discern the voice of unintegrated trauma from that of our highest truth under this influence, and then put each in their appropriate places.

July 5 — Sun in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus — This bright new day has a chance of bringing a refreshing dose of self confidence with it. You may find that good ideas are flowing effortlessly, and that you have all of the energy and ambition you need to either follow through, or give something new a good start. Ideas could be sudden and fleeting. If something amazing comes to mind, write it down!

July 6 — Mercury in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces — Venus in Leo Opposing Saturn in Aquarius — You may feel a little dreamy or spacey on this day due to the square between Mercury and Neptune. This has to do with the richness of your imagination at this time, for better or worse. With Venus opposing Saturn, this richness of imagination could manifest as worry, jealousy, or depression.  However, this could also arise as disillusionment, resulting in a firmer grasp on reality.  Any confusion that comes from this transit will likely pass quickly.

July 7 — Venus in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries — Keep your mind wide open for creative solutions to physical limitations or wounds. Use your senses to determine the way forward, and follow the sensation of pleasure to the solutions you need.

July 8 — Mercury in Gemini Inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn — Venus in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus —  You may feel a little impulsive on this day, and you may have a sudden, strange desire to break out of the systems you depend on for balance and stability. Positively, this can be a very romantic time, but also one in which your desire for independence in love is elevated. At the same time, this square between Venus and Uranus could have you feeling overly sensitive, jealous, and more likely to break rules. Give consideration to outcomes before moving forward because the recklessness will pass quickly but the outcomes of rash actions may not.

July 9 —  New Moon at 18° of Cancer — This New Moon brings an opportunity to set intentions close to home. Being in Cancer, such intentions are best directed at increasing familial harmony, warmth, compassion and prosperity. July 12 — Mercury in Cancer Trine Jupiter in Pisces —  Here comes a refreshing boost of optimism that can calm any inner storm! Balanced emotions could bring more clear thinking. You act fairly, generously, and with a great thirst for knowledge. Don’t let it pass you by!

July 13 — Venus Conjunct Mars in Leo — Interestingly, this transit can bring our addictions to comfort and pleasure into our awareness, which offers us an opportunity to examine which pleasures are meant to last. Even our seemingly innocent addictions are fears of loss in disguise. This is a great time for honesty, and for discussing what is most important with all who play a part in them. The value of long term pleasures dramatically outweigh short term comforts. Make sure everyone is on board.

July 15-16 — Sun in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces — Venus in Leo Inconjunct Neptune in Pisces —  Your taste for beauty is especially refined on this day, and you will be drawn to experience it, in all its various forms.  You may also find yourself drawn to the mystical arts, to science, or to anything that allows you to look behind the scenes of reality, and discover how all of the pieces so beautifully fit together. July 17 — Sun in Cancer Opposing Pluto in Capricorn —  This transit tends to bring internal conflict that sometimes boils over into the external. Between Cancer and Capricorn, this is likely to manifest as an  emotional opposition to institutions, or wherever power is perceived. This of course offers us the opportunity to examine ourselves, and determine the degree to which we ourselves are contributing to our own experiences of oppression, and how much of this is truly rooted in reality. 

July 18 — Three Inconjunct Aspects, see ** at the end of report for information about these transit.

July 19 — Mercury in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries —  You may feel especially sensitive, or reactive on this day. While you will need to be extra cautious with what you say and do in response to whatever you may be feeling, this is actually a blessing in disguise. Your sensitivity can help you develop a fine-tuned understanding of your own inner wounds. While you may feel tempted to “get the lead out,” it is actually far more constructive to gather, organize and transmute this lead into gold.

July 20 — Mercury in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus — This is a good day for progress and creativity.  Your thinking will be original, intuitive, and flexible, perfect for inventing and implementing creative solutions.

July 22-23 — Venus in Virgo Opposing Jupiter in Pisces — This is a time to be particularly gentle in love and romance.  Always priorities mutual trust, respect, and compassion. If you behave recklessly at all, this could prove to be a very emotionally challenging transit. There is also a chance for an excess of awesomeness to come from this combination! Two benefic planets in opposition can be fun overdone :) If you are prone to excess fun in a bad way, then set up support systems to avoid issues with this, if you are looking for more fun, you may feel it in your wallet but it could bring wonderful memories.

July 23 — Full Moon at 1° of Aquarius — This is when the work you have done around the intentions you set at the time of the new moon manifests  in plain sight. If you tended to your intentions to the best of your ability, this could be a very fruitful time.  However, if you neglected them, or worked against them, the consequences of doing so will be out in full force.  Either way, emotions are likely to be high. July 24 — Mercury in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces — Intuition is heightened on this day, which gives you a ripe imagination, and greater appreciation for subtlety. The arts flourish under this influence. Use this transit to make life more beautiful in some small (yet not so small) way.

July 25 — Mercury in Cancer Opposing Pluto in Capricorn — Difficulties in collaborative efforts may arise.  Rather than avoiding collaboration, it will be better to prioritize compromise, and to become as flexible as you can be.  You could actually learn a great deal about what you are capable of.

July 27 — Mercury in Leo Inconjunct Jupiter in Pisces — See the general energy of in conjunct aspects in the ** section at the end of the report.

July 29 — Mars in Leo Opposing Jupiter in Aquarius —  Be mindful of any excessive behavior on this day, as there is an increased tendency to be wasteful, harsh, greedy, or prideful under this transit. You may even feel tempted to fight against authority for the sake of it, assuming yourself to know better. Instead, use this energy to do some work deep within yourself.  Examine the needless assumptions, habits, and insecurities that are so often masked by excess. Humility is most precious when it is chosen. This could also represent just overdoing to the point of exhaustion or injury. If you get the feeling (or someone is telling you) that you need some rest, then consider taking that good advice.

July 30 — Venus in Virgo Inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius — see ** below

 

**Inconconjunct aspects bring awkwardness and the energy of two ships looking for each other but passing in the night, like some dots want to connect but can’t. They can bring stress but they can also force perspective shifts that create solutions after the annoyance.
