Now onto more about the stars ahead... 

 

April 2021 Astrology ~ Clarity, Vigor, and Zesty Progress ~ MY SECOND FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEAR!

 

As we leave March we exit the month with my favorite aspects of the whole year, but at least we move into the month that is my second favorite :)

 

There are three things that make March and April similar in positive energy. The first is that there are lots of sweet aspects each month! The second is that there are more sweet than salty aspects in both months. The third is that the energy of open stars, a sky free from retrogrades, will create lots of momentum and be moving things forward in a big way.

 

Two things that I like even MORE about April compared to March are that the whole month is free from the web of retrograde (the first half of March was still a little cloudy from the post retrograde phase of Mercury) and that in April we have a predominance of Aries energies that will really get things moving even more than in March without the excess water energies bringing high emotion.

 

April is a time for restored certainty, the capacity to see further ahead to start making some plans for the future, renewed energy, increased optimism, and supercharged ambition. The fire energies are not being washed out by conflicting water energies as we have in March so they can really shine.

 

Two things that that are different about April compared to March are that there are a few more nuisance aspects (although thank goodness, no heavy hitter outer planet connections like we had in February and January of 2021 and many times throughout 2020), AND eclipse rumblings will begin, which tend to increase anxiety levels a bit as we sense things are about to change (in some cases in VERY big ways) but all the information is not available yet as to what that is going to look like).  It is very important to note that many of these changes can be SUPREMELY positive! But just the not-knowing all the details tends to make us a bit uncomfortable sometimes. Some people will feel very positive anticipation, like the something great is coming, others will feel a sense that challenges on their way. The potential for eclipse manifestations increase as the month moves on.

 

Eclipse rumblings as the month progresses will bring themes that started in mid 2020 with the onset of the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipse cycle back into major focus. In my May and June video horoscope reports I will go into detail about where you each will be feeling this from your sign perspective. The first eclipse is May 26, a lunar eclipse at 5° of Sagittarius and the second is June 10, a solar eclipse at almost 20° of Gemini.

 

April will bring lots of Aries and Taurus conjunctions and these are both ACTION instigators.  As such, this month will be VERY productive. Leaps and bounds of progress can be made in a short amount of time and this month has great energy for big decisions, major actions, launches, moves, and anything else important.

 

April also has lots of sextiles, aka 60° angles, which are what I call the “ingredients on the counter” angle, as they will bring you pieces of what you need to make yummy creations, but you have to actually DO something with those opportunities and the more you look for them, the more there will likely be. This is one of the best months of the whole year for ACTION so it is perfect timing to have opportunities as actualizing them will be easier and take you further.

 

The days around April 17 are VERY busy astrologically, with many factors (most of them very positive) coming together with a lot of intensity.

 

In the days around April 22, 23, and 30, expect the unexpected as Venus, Mercury, then the Sun connect directly with the wild-card planet Uranus. Sometimes these combinations bring jostling and unwelcome surprises but there is an equal chance for happy surprises, sudden transformative insights or experiences, sudden solutions, and rapid burning off of negative karma that allow for more freedom and lightness.

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 1, 2 6, 10, 13, 15, 17, 22, 23, 26, 29, and 30.

 

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 9, 11, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 26, and 30.

April 1-2 — Mercury in Pisces Sextile Pluto in Capricorn — This aspect is great for studying, research, and exciting probing into mysteries. It can draw in deep and fulfilling conversations and people with whom you connect on deeper or soul levels.

 

April 6 — Venus in Aries Sextile Mars in Gemini — A sweet blessings for love and money, and general harmony.

 

April 9 — Venus and Chiron in Aries — Woundedness in love or money may surface but the insights into the deeper pattern could yield positive shifts.

 

April 9 — Mars in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces — This aspect could bring discouragement, hits to self-esteem, or hesitation on a previously certain path. Things could still work out as planned and this moment of self-inquiry could help to make a positive revision that makes the outcome even better. If you are uncertain, waiting a short time might be helpful. Clarity is likely to come back within a few days.

 

April 10 — Mercury in Aries Sextile Saturn in Aquarius — Ideas and actions blend perfectly now. Long-term plans could gel in wonderful ways.

 

April 10 — Venus in Aries Sextile Jupiter in Aquarius — Sweet boosts to love and money and general harmony and luck tend to come with this aspect.

 

April 11 - New Moon at 22° of Aries — and Venus in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn  — Another great time for vision boards - This is the kick-off party of Astrological New Year which was March 21 - The days around now could be a perfect time for a launch or taking important action if the certainty is there and red flags are minimal or non-existent. This is the first new moon of the year and holds amazing promise with seed-planting, both literally and figuratively. Any ideas you hold close to your heart with visions of the outcomes, or any steps you take towards something you want to manifest will have extra support now. Venus is also squaring Pluto at this time which adds an annoying edge or impatience from you or others but things could come to light that make your desired future more clear so you can move towards it. Issues with power, control, or jealousy could come up. If these are related to a situation that could be dangerous, use prudence to get to a safe space.

 

April 13 — Sun in Aries Sextile Mars in Gemini — Boldness pulses and vitality soars, progress rushes forward!

 

April 15 — Sun in Aries Sextile Jupiter in Aquarius —  Supportive starry boosts tend to come with this one. Luck and creative flow can be greatly expanded.

 

April 16 — Sun in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn — the positive flow of this week run up against a test or some other kind of opposition. It is possible that the annoyingly stern person or institution that is in your face now has an important message that can help put you on a better track.

 

April 17 - 5 Aspects!

 

~ Mars in Gemini Trine Jupiter in Aquarius — One of my favorite aspects of the year! Action and luck come together in a magical way. Networking, friendships, and support of groups can boost you to your goals. I love this time for a launch or taking other important actions if your intuition gives you a big YES and all seems in a good flow.

 

~ Mercury in Aries Sextile Jupiter — This aspect can bring great news and blessed communication. A lucky piece of information could come in around now.

 

~ Mercury in Aries Sextile Mars in Gemini — Energy to take action on important news and ideas will be strong. Passion and motivation are running super high!

 

~ Mercury in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn — Here is another nuisance to the wild momentum of this time but it will likely be short-lived. Take seriously whatever seems to be trying crush your dreams and factor in the information to your plan but don’t give up!

 

April 17-18 — Mars in Gemini Inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn — This aspect running alongside the others mentioned above can add an obsessive, impatient, and carelessness that needs to be noted and kept in check for best outcomes.

 

April 18 — Sun and Mercury Conjunct in Aries — Aries rules ambition and motivation, with the Sun amplifying these energies, you could step into powerhouse mode. The same energies could amplify anger or aggression within you or others so tread lightly as people may be on more edge than usual.

 

April 22 — Venus and Uranus Conjunct in Taurus — Surprises in love and money are likely at this time, for better or worse. This aspect could add an exciting zip to your love life or bring in random money, or it could  bring unwelcome jostling in love or finances. It’s a wild card!

 

April 23-24 — Mercury and Uranus Conjunct in Taurus — This is similar energy to the Venus/Uranus aspect on the 24. Great or terrible news, fantastic ideas that solve major problems or mental overload are all ways I have seen this manifest. Your adrenals and nervous system will need more support now and insomnia is more likely this week.

 

April 24 — Venus in Taurus Square Saturn in Aquarius — Reality checks come to love or money but any issue that comes up now can be resolved and the situation could be better from addressing the problem.

 

April 26 — Full Moon at 7° of Scorpio — Fullness, completion, fruition,  elucidation, or drama come to deep relationships, intimacy, shared resources, investments or other financial areas. April 29 — Mercury in Taurus Sextile Neptune in Pisces — This aspect tends to bring boosts to intuition and creativity. It can be in connection with others but has extra special strength in communion with spirit through meditation, art, dance, prayer, lucid dreaming, and other reflective personal pursuits.

 

April 30 — Sun and Uranus Conjunct in Taurus — More jolts or surprises with this aspect (see above listings on April 22-24 with Venus and Mercury and Uranus). On the plus side, shocking revelations that bring great clarity and direction can occur. It is a great time for brainstorming and creative expression.
