Now onto more about the stars ahead... 

 

February 2021 ~ REST, TEST, REVIEW, REPEAT

 

The open stars of December and January shift back into the internal and backwards mode of Mercury retrograde.This month is a stark contrast from the months before. Now is a time to rest, test, and review recent and past progress and go back to clean up messes, settle unfinished business, tend to details, things attempted before may come back for a repeat or a re-do.

 

Ideas vs. action will be a main theme this month as will the topics of freedom and proper use of power.

 

A record amount of planets in Aquarius (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pallas Athena, Jupiter, and Saturn) and aspects (for better and worse) with all of these placements, will bring the energy of Aquarius alive in prominent and noteworthy ways. Some examples of the areas of life that will be brought into the forefront are: social connections (including social media), humanitarian efforts, community-minded ideals and projects, and all group activities online or in-person.

 

Several bumps with Mars and inner planets bring light and quick-passing arguments and other nuisances.

 

One of my all-time favorite potentially VERY positive aspect occur this month. Venus and Jupiter get together expanding love, money, and overall good vibes. This aspect occurs on the New Moon in Aquarius on February 11 and blesses Chinese New Year. A very auspicious time!

 

If you have something new to offer or birth, March and April will hold much more forward momentum than February, and are two of my favorite months from the astrological perspective, of the whole year. Also know that things that seem a certain way in February month, might have a very different picture in the months to come.

 

EPIC Saturn and Uranus squares start this month…

 

Saturn and Uranus will make 3 connections this year (just like Jupiter and Pluto did in 2020) and this means that there is a storyline at play in 2021 that will play out all year and beyond into late 2022. The exact hit dates for 2021 will be: February 17, 2021, June 14, 2021 and December 24, 2021. Look for key news and events to correspond in the weeks around those dates.

 

Saturn and Uranus in the sky will be in close but not exact square configuration throughout 2022 and closer from September 17 to October 24, 2022. They will square exactly in October 2022 then will start to separate and move away from each other.

 

Themes of 2020 with the old clashing with the new, traditional vs. pioneering will continue throughout the entire time of these Saturn and Uranus connections.

 

Systems that were in place were not sustainable. The outer planets in Capricorn tested those systems and checked which ones had what it takes for long-term surety.

 

While 2020 featured a long string of personal planet retrogrades which made the theme of STANDSTILL echo throughout the year, 2021 is full of change and forward movement. But the end of January and most of February specifically might see some reversion to the inward and backward focus, taking a break from the forward movement and bringing our daily environment into strong focus. It is a time to integrate changes that have occurred, evaluate past decisions, and research choices that will have to be made soon.

 

Even though the odds for economic recession and high unemployment are very high throughout 2021 and 2022 and many millions of people will have negative effects from this BUT, and this is a major BUT, remember that this time will bring amazing opportunities for NEW industry, NEW ways of working and NEW relationships with work itself.

 

Old paradigms are being busted up and everything is being put into question… Work hours, schedules, locations, and anything else. Virtual employment will boom and those who are daring or otherwise sufficiently motivated out of necessity to innovate and pioneer, can benefit from this surprising and exciting phase of human evolution.

 

Many lofty dreams will be fulfilled and magical miracles will occur. During the last economic crises, I was one of the many people that had devastating financial losses and it was very stressful and uncertain but it was that crisis that birthed the current form of my work out in the world. Keep this in mind for yourself or others you know as the events from 2020-2022 can be the catalyst that help many to step into the life of their dreams.

 

If you have an option to stretch into new and interesting realms, that path could hold tremendous promise. If you try to do things the ways they have been done before (even if those ways used to be successful), you may encounter blocks, and if you do, consider trying to align with options along the lines of these key terms: unusual, eccentric, forward-thinking, green, progressive, community-focused, internet-based.

 

Communities will come together in new and wonderful ways, both locally and online. Contributing to this trend can spur amazing new business and/or humanitarian offerings.

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 24, and 25.

 

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 1, 6, 8, 10, 17, 19, and 20.

February 1 — Sun in Aquarius Square Mars in Taurus —  This aspect can bring minor conflicts and general annoyances and impatience. The energy passes quickly but it is good to avoid making decisions or taking actions while feeling off as it could lead to longer lasting challenges.

 

February 6 — Venus in Aquarius Conjunct Saturn in Aquarius  — Something important or long-term can gel in money or love at this time. Recognition or financial support can accompany this transit. Sometimes the opposite happens and conflict or hardship comes to money or love but always available in the strife is information about how to avoid the difficulty in the future.

 

February 6 — Venus in Aquarius Sextile Chiron in Aries  — This time could bring the shoring up of a previously weak spot in your self-esteem, finances or important relationship(s).

 

February 6 — Venus in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus — When the planet of love and money gets together in a conflictive angle with the master of surprises and jostling, unpleasant situations or news often arises. Because of the simultaneous sextile with Chiron that Venus has (see above transit) there is a chance that a sweet outcome could come after this conflict or some kind of mitigating factor could protect in the challenge.

 

February 8 — Sun and Mercury Conjunct in Aquarius  — Many people will receive notable news in the days around not about a friend, acquaintance or other social situation or platform. A blast from the past could come with someone surprising you with contact or you could be drawn to connect with someone from the past.

 

February 9 — Saturn in Aquarius Sextile Chiron in Aries  — This could be a time for real celebration for those who have been doing their inner work! The longevity and practical nature of Saturn, as well as the goal-orientedness can combine beautifully with Chiron’s energy of healing woundedness to bring great breakthroughs in patterns that have haunted you for a long time.

 

February 10 — Mercury in Aquarius Square Mars in Taurus  — Here is another little nuisance bump with Mars (the first was on February 1st). Arguments or other forms of anger could erupt from you or at you. This also should pass quickly and holding your tongue might spare you unnecessary  longer-term drama. If you really need to tell someone something, try to clear the anger off of it before communication for best results.

 

February 11 — New Moon at 23° of Aquarius  — and Venus/Jupiter in Aquarius Conjunction! ~ What a day!  Venus and Jupiter getting together can bring expanded luck in money and love (although occasionally it could manifest as expansion of any issues in those areas, it is generally overwhelmingly positive) PLUS the New Moon bringing new chapters to friendships, social circles, community and/or internet-based projects. Chinese New Year under this auspicious connection between Venus and Jupiter can make this time burn extra bright.

 

February 12-13 — Mercury and Venus Conjunct in Aquarius  — Notable money or love news, sweet friendship experiences and other lively social interactions all tend to accompany this one.

 

February 13 — Mars in Taurus Sextile Neptune in Pisces  — Following a hunch now can bring especially great results. Artistic endeavors receive extra support. This can also be a great time for rest and relaxation or comfortable productivity that also includes diversion. A nice sequence for a romantic trip.

 

February 14 — Mercury and Jupiter Conjunct in Aquarius  — Mark your calendar for this one! Big news is likely! Communication flows effortlessly. Major connections or re-connections are more likely at this time.

 

February 17 — Saturn in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus  — First of 3 passes this year - EPIC - February 17, June 14, and December 24, 2021. See info in main body above for specifics.

 

February 19 — Venus in Aquarius Square Mars in Taurus — A third small bump with Mars that could bring annoyances and arguments. All three of these Mars aspects with inner planets this month show a pattern of irritations but at least they are all quick moving.

 

February 20 — Mercury Direct at 11° of Aquarius — post shadow until March 14 — The days before and after this transit are often extra chaotic . This whole month was covered in Mercury retro energy which tends to bring changes to plans, miscommunications, tech breakdowns. On the plus side, the retro can also bring fun things from the past, creativity benders, opportunities for rest, wrapping up unfinished business, and surprise opportunities for travel and other excursions.

 

February 24 — Mars in Taurus Trine Pluto in Capricorn  — Major productivity or material outcomes often accompany this transit. Things done in the past may reap wonderful rewards now.

 

February 25 — Sun in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus  — This aspect could bring a sweet surprise, boosts to creativity, and brilliant insights.

 

February 27 — Full Moon at almost 9° of Virgo  — Fruition, accomplishment, drama, or other notable events are more likely in the days around this transit. Fullness, completion and fruition can come to any area of life and especially in the Virgo arena ~ Health, wellness, diet, lifestyle, workplace, self-employment, and pets or other animals are in the spotlight.
