December 2020 ~ FULL SPEED AHEAD!! ~ BUILDING THE NEW
It is full steam ahead starting now! Every day into December gets further from the obstacles and delays of the year of personal planet retrogrades and deeper into the life-changing potentials of the eclipses and the historic Jupiter and Saturn alignment.
In December, all of the usual planets we talk about will be DIRECT except Uranus and in January, for a very short time, ALL the usual planets we discuss will be direct! DIRECT movement for the planets = FORWARD movement for us.
December and the first half of January emerge as a supreme time to make big decisions, take major steps, launch businesses and other projects, sign paperwork, and anything else major or binding.
Busy and scattered Sagittarius energies abound through the Sun and Mercury’s movement and a powerful eclipse on December 14 that will flavor the whole month (and before and after this month) with electric change. Sagittarius support can also bring hope and optimism, words that many had forgotten in this crazy year of epic surprise change. The likelihood is increased that you will be crazy busy
and overwhelmed by the rapid change of pace that takes over this month compared to the last very many months.
2020 was about testing systems, busting up anything that was not sustainable and now December brings us in to the theme that will carry for 2021 and beyond, building the new and sustainable. Traditional systems were often kept intact because they had just always been there, but carried a massive amount of inefficiency. Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius both seek to find solutions, Jupiter through
stretching into what is possible and Saturn through asking how these ideas can reasonably be created and maintained. The last time these two titans got together was in the years of the bursting of the dot.com bubble. Jupiter had done its epic expansion work, and Saturn came in with its reality check. As the two progress together, they work in tandem.
You will see these themes and patterns in the global community, country level, the local level, and on your personal level.
The surprises and changes are not over yet! 2021 will be another radical year of epic proportions but at least it carries a different energy than the line-up in Capricorn. Some cascading effects of what occurred in 2020 will still remain to be seen.
Here are some key words associated with Aquarius and the planets of Saturn, Jupiter, and Uranus that will be brought in the forefront in major ways starting in December and echoing out for years to come:
Technology, innovation, sustainability, internet-based businesses, focus on local economies and communities (vs. the focus on globalization that had dominated previously), social structures, surprises/shocks, green/sustainable ventures, efficiency, progressiveness, accountability, friendships, networks, social connections and groups, instability, humanitarianism, equality, social
justice.
Continued wild news and trajectory shifts from the Eclipse series roll in! Life-changing news and experiences are very likely! November 30 brings a Lunar Eclipse at 8° of Gemini and the second Eclipse in the series is at 23° of Sagittarius on December 14. This set of Eclipses has been and will continue to be very centered around the acquiring and sharing information, social interacting,
education/learning/teaching formats, locations, and systems, writing/editing/speaking/publishing, workplace environment, mobility, travel (local and long distance), and international relations and experiences, immigration, global economy vs. local economies.
Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 4, 5, 10, 11, 14, 15, 19, 21, 24, 25, and 27.
Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 5, 6, 9, 13, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, and 30.

December 4 — Mercury in Sagittarius Trine Chiron in Aries — I love this aspect for healing work! The aspects today and tomorrow make this a great weekend for a personal healing retreat or to schedule some time for inner work and relaxation. Travel, verbally sharing, or writing could carry extra healing magic now!
December 5 — Venus in Scorpio Trine Neptune in Pisces — Intimacy and romance could flourish under these stars. Combined with the aspect on the 4th, this weekend could be a great time to cozy up with your honey or members of your ‘soul’ family.

December 6 — Mercury in Sagittarius Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus — See bottom of the report for info on Inconjunct aspects.
December 9 — Sun in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces — Guard your privacy especially now. Neptune squares can often bring prying eyes. Also guard your health. This type of aspect can offer an opening for illness. If you are burning the candle at both ends, try to get some good sleep by this time to keep healthy.
December 10 — Venus in Scorpio Sextile Pluto in Capricorn — Endorsements or other acknowledgments of your work by someone who could be helpful to you or your cause can come in now. You may know about it but it may be someone in the backdrop helping you out without your knowledge. If you have to ask someone for something, now could be a great time.
December 10-11 — Sun in Sagittarius Trine Mars in Aries — Fire trines often bring boosts to vitality and self-esteem. You may be really feeling the forward motion from projects previously stalled out and be smiling big about it.
December 13 — Mercury in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces — Water planets seek to curb the enthusiasm of Sagittarius placements. Don’t let a naysayer discourage your from your dream! Valiant support could be right around the corner.
December 14 — New Moon in Sagittarius at 23°/Solar Eclipse — It’s time to make your New Moon wishes, especially on the topics of anything Sagittarius - writing, publishing, travel, languages, international busienss, teaching, learning, and more. See my blog called Making
Powerful New Moon in Sagittarius Wishes for more info. Solar eclipses often open up wild new doors of experience. It is likely to be a notable time of revitalizing change. Also occurring at this time, Venus in Scorpio Sextile Jupiter in Capricorn and Mercury in Sagittarius Trine Mars in Aries. These aspects give extra sweetness to the potentials for the now and the long-term.
December 16-17 — Saturn enters Aquarius — Saturn first went into Aquarius March 21, 2020 then returned to Capricorn July 1, 2020. December 16-17, 2020 it enters Aquarius to stay until March 7, 2023. Saturn was last in Aquarius June 1993 - January 1994.
December 18 — Mercury Crosses December 14th Solar Eclipse Point — More eclipse news or events are likely to come in around now.
December 19 — Venus in Sagittarius Trine Chiron in Aries — Blessings come from owning your wholeness! Spots that may have felt weak before now have new and positive associations.
December 19 — Sun Conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius — Expect excess flow of information in and out. Creativity could burst forth in magical ways, fun and lively conversations with kindred spirits, a trip or news of future travel are all ways these energies can manifest.
December 19-20 — Jupiter enters Aquarius - December 2020 - December 2021 — Watch my videos on Youtube for how each sign will likely experience this transit!
December 20-21 — Venus in Sagittarius Inconjunct Uranus in Taurus — See bottom of the report for info on Inconjunct aspects.
December 21 — Jupiter and Saturn Conjunct in Aquarius — This aspect happens only once. The last time it happened was May 2000. From 1802 - 2000 these roundabout 20 year conjunctions happened in Earth signs. Starting this day, December 21, 2020 and running through 2159, their meetings will all be in Air signs.
December 23 — Mars in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn — This is the last of three of these aspects this year (the first two were )August 13 and October 9). Aggression, anger, accidents, and injuries increase in likelihood. Try to stay calm, avoid touchy topics, and don’t antagonize people who are on edge. Assume everyone is on edge as you are out and about and tread lightly. Follow your
intuition to avoid going into situations that could turn. From the inner work perspective, this can be wonderful for going deep to clear out deep anger issues and experience more joy in life from having healed this.
December 23 — Mercury in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries — A bump to self-esteem usually occurs with this one. A misunderstanding or criticism can bring up old wounds. I love EFT tapping when this kind of transit happens! It can really help heal issues instead of just putting a bandaid on them and trying to forget them.
December 24-25 — Mercury in Capricorn Trine Uranus in Taurus — This is one of my favorite aspects of the year! It is a time when happy surprises abound. Great news, fun experiences, prolific creativity, are all increased in odds at this time.
December 25-26 — Sun in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries — You may feel you need to prove yourself to someone at this time. Deeper inquiry into why their opinion matters so much can yield emotional breakthroughs.
December 25-26 — Mars Trines December 14th Solar Eclipse Point — Expect more news along the continuum of the Eclipse occurrences.
December 27 — Sun in Capricorn Trine Uranus in Taurus — This is another one of my favorite aspects. When Uranus is in a nice angle, the element of surprise can often work in your favor. Uniqueness flows in a wonderful way that may be well-acknowledged by others.

December 30 — Venus in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces — Confusion, deception, or disillusionment in love or money is common at this time. The good news is that whatever comes up will likely pass quickly.

In the days around planets making this aspect expect awkwardness. Not seeing eye to eye with someone or feeling overlooked is common, as is feeling generally disconnected and unheard. Taking things personally that weren’t meant that way or wrapping too much ego in the situation can create or add to the issue. The annoyances usually pass quickly and the less you make of them, usually the better as any
attempt to engage is misunderstood or causes more issues. I always love EFT (the Emotional Freedom Technique) for the weird feelings that tend to come up with these angles.
