October 2019  ~ RAW EMOTION, INTIMACY, MONEY, & MYSTERY

 

October heralds a time to where the stars are guiding us to go in deep. Diving into emotion, intimacy, sex, money, power, and mystery are all parts of the energy of Scorpio that will be a major theme from the beginning of October through around December 9.  In October there will be 3 personal planets (the ones closest to us whose effects are easiest to track) in Scorpio adding multiple layers to the Scorpio stories that stretches for months.

 

For those who thrive with these energies or at least choose to use them actively and intentionally, this can be a time of major insights and breakthroughs.  For those who avoid emotion and depth, this time will quite actively force focus into these arenas.  Dream pairings and jolting splits are more likely now as raw and honest focus on true desires come forth in some surprising ways.

 

Oppositions with Uranus, the planet of surprise, assures some important events that see to come out-of-the-blue.  Squares with Pluto and Saturn assure conflict and pressure from the inside or outside that will bring stress but can also be exactly what you need to break out of the matrix of unfulfilling patterns.

 

Some questions to ask during this time that can help you to use the energies in the most productive ways are:

 

How can you add more substance to your life?

 

How can you connect in with powerful partners and create synergistic outcomes with your combined resources and efforts?

 

What are your blocks to deeper intimacy and fulfillment within your relationships?

 

What esoteric or psychological resources do you need to help you see your blind spots and clear them?

 

What areas of the ‘lesser seen’ realms are calling for more focus?

 

Where does your relationship with money or other resources need some tweaking? or if you are doing well with money and resources, how can you further shift your relationship with money, debt, etc. to further improve your life?

 

How can you pay off or manage debt? 

 

 

There is an even number of challenging aspects to sweet ones this month with  October 15-25 having a string of sweet aspects. Since this aspects occur as Mercury is starting to slow down and shift directions, they increase the likelihood of blessings coming from the past.

 

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 12, 13, 15, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27, and 30.

 

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 1, 6, 7, 12, 14, 27, 28, 30, and 31.

October 1 —  Venus in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn — Clashes in love and money and/or a showdown between your personal ambitions and your relationships is more likely at this time.  You may have to assert your right to use resources for something practical related to current or future work opportunities.

 

 

October 2-3 —  Pluto Direct at 20° of Capricorn —  Deep internal lessons, inner work, or plans start to make their way into the seen world now.

 

 

October 6-7 — Mercury in Scorpio Opposing Uranus in Taurus — This aspect often brings a jolting communication or situation related to mobility.  The Me vs. We dynamic is at play in a big way either through being at odds with each other or through mutual understanding and commitment deepening to bring great outcomes.

 

October 7 — Sun in Libra Square Saturn in Capricorn — Personal expression and vitality may get tested now.  Parental or other authority figures could bring in a stern eye to a project or decision.  They could have a point so try to keep ego aside and see how they are trying to help even with their negative edge.

 

October 12 — Venus in Scorpio Opposing Uranus in Taurus — More possible jolts in money and love now.  Surprise expenses or income are more likely with this transit.  Your plans or way of being vs. those of a significant other can come up as a major theme now.  It is also possible to have this transit manifest as a surprise and thrilling romantic tryst.

 

October 12 —  Mercury Retrograde Pre-Transit Shadow Begins — The pre-transit shadow period starts now.  Every day between now and October 31 when the actual retrograde starts holds more of the things that retrogrades tend to bring.  Plan changes and minor or major reevaluations in any area of life are more likely now. Starting now, flexibility and flow become the main mantra.

 

October 13 —  Full Moon at 20° of Aries —  This Full Moon comes blessed with the Sun in Libra Sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius and Mercury in Scorpio Sextile Saturn in Capricorn bringing even greater awesome potentials.  Individual accomplishments can shine greatly now.  Sometimes this aspect could bring attention to a health issue.  Even though the pre-transit shadow period of Mercury has begun, I still love this day for important things and it is one of my favorite of the month for anything important.  The Libra/Sagittarius aspect can be awesome for partnership accomplishments or decisions and the Mercury/Capricorn combination can aid this, as well, and add potential for important news or agreements. October 14 —  Sun in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn — Power struggles are more likely with this transit.  Sometimes the struggle is simply a manifestation of your own uncertainty. Careful evaluation of the issue at hand can be really helpful to better outcomes.

 

 

October 15 — Mercury in Scorpio Trine Neptune in Pisces — Creativity can really soar under this transit.  Music, poetry, dance, meditation, healing are all beautifully in resonance. Insights bringing the missing piece of a inner puzzle you have been working on are more likely now.

 

 

October 19 — Mercury in Scorpio Sextile Pluto in Capricorn —  I love this aspect for deep conversations and awesome breakthroughs.  Powers of persuasion may be stronger now and conversations from the past may circle back around and bring great results.

 

October 20 —  Venus in Scorpio Sextile Saturn in Capricorn -  This brings great potentials for business and other negotiations or collaborations.  Solutions in partnerships could be more forthcoming now.

 

 

October 21 —  Venus in Scorpio Trine Neptune in Pisces -  This aspect is great for romance, relaxation, creative efforts, and meditative bliss.

 

 

October 25 —  Venus in Scorpio Sextile Pluto in Capricorn - Intense romantic or financial connections or breakthroughs in love or money are more likely now.

 

October 27 —  New Moon at 4° of Scorpio and Mars in Libra Square Saturn in Capricorn - Even though this New Moon carries potentials for new chapters in relationships, the concurrent aspect with Mars and Saturn increases the likelihood of obstacles and frustrations.  It is still a great time to make your New Moon in Scorpio wishes - see my blog on the topic to maximize this astrological portal.

 

 

October 28 —  Sun in Scorpio Opposing Uranus in Taurus  - This can bring exciting, unnerving, overstimulating, and surprising events.  Sometimes there is nothing specific that happens from it as an event but instead it brings restlessness, sleeplessness, or anxiety.  Participating in grounding activities (like barefoot standing on grass, sand, rock), taking a break from devices, meditation, etc. are some ways to help ground at this time.  Sudden insights can come in that feel like you have been struck by lightning.  The insights can be fleeting so write down anything meaningful to hold on to the information.

 

 

October 30 —  Mercury in Scorpio Conjunct Venus in Scorpio - Big money or love news can come in now.  An important discussion relevant to relationships or finances could take center stage now.  Deep insights or breakthroughs are more likely now.

 

 

October 31 —  Mercury Retrograde at 27° of Scorpio back to 11° of Scorpio (going direct on November 20 post-shadow transit through December 8 — The tides turn inward and backward.  Changes to plans are more likely now as are miscommunications and misunderstandings.  Flexibility and patience are necessary to make the most of the opportunities present at this time.  Blessings can come from the past in a major way.  The days before and after this day can have more intensity.
