   August 2019  ~ HAPPY SURPRISES ABOUND! (My FAVORITE month of the whole year!)

 

 

This is an unusual month where there are only TWO transits that are likely to bring some stress and TWELVE aspects that are brilliantly positive.  While some challenging after-affects of the eclipses could still be rolling in, this month is overwhelming positive in its potentials to a degree that is very rare!

 

The shockwaves and intense emotion of July starts to wane after the early part of August opening up into an awesome month with a ton of potential happy surprises! Do note though that wild trajectory changing eclipse news could continue to come in and the after affects of the changes could still be felt this month and beyond.

 

 

Lingering Mercury retrograde energies (not completely clear until August 15) can still bring some can bring confusion, miscommunications, changes to plans, or glorious manifestations from past work and new opportunities based on work done or contacts from the past. Blessings and challenges from the past are likely to resurface now.  It is a great time to tie up loose ends.  Projects from the past could be wrapped up now or moved along a continuum of completion.  Clearing the decks for new things is a great idea as this time is so rich with possibility and you may need to make room for what wants to come in.

 

The whole month sparkles with zesty Leo energy and grounding Virgo energies join to bring substance to glowing creative potential.  A truly magical time in the cosmos!

 

This is one of my favorite months of the year for taking big steps and basking in the glory of previous work. There are MANY amazing transits this month.  For projects that have a shorter-term intention (like 6-9 months), August 7, 8, 11, and 13 could be great. My favorite ones for major launches and big steps with long-term intentions are August 21, 26, 28, 30, and 31.

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: August 1, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, 21, 26, 28, 30, and 31.

 

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: August 2 and 16.

August 1 —  New Moon at 8° of Leo —  This New Moon occurs on july 31 in some time zones and August 1 in others so I am listing it here in August because either way it will have influence stretching into today. Extra power can be used at this time for wishing and new beginnings. See my blog Making Powerful New Moon in Leo Wishes to assist you in using this transit to its fullest. Also happening on July 31 in some time zones and August 1 in others and having an influence today either way is Mercury going direct at 23° of Cancer which can bring some confusion, changes to plans, and miscommunications.  Keep flexibility and a sense of adventure to best navigate now :)

 

 

August 2 —  Venus in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus — Although the theme of the month is Happy Surprises based on lots of sweet aspects with Uranus, this is one of the two that are more likely to have the opposite effect and bring some unwelcome jolts.  Unpleasant or jostling surprises in love, money, or self-assurance could pop in now.  Guard your physical body with extra care and walk with more awareness to protect from the confusing and scattered energy that is brewing now.

 

 

August 7 — Sun in Leo Trine Jupiter in Sagittarius — Here is the first of a massive amount of amazing transits with Jupiter or Uranus this month.  Welcome clarity and expansion are likely now.  Sweet opportunities could come in bringing smiles of fulfillment or expectation.  The energy is still a bit clouded from Mercury recently having gone direct (it doesn’t completely clear until August 15) but some steps forward could be placed now.  For major launches, this could work but if they are brand new to the world and/or a really big deal, there are some other days in the month I like better (which I will list and explain as we get to them…)

 

August 8 — Venus in Leo Trine Jupiter in Sagittarius— This is one of my favorite aspects for anything important involving love or money.  Have some caution, though, because of some lingering Mercury retrograde energies.  If you have a launch doing something that is a revision or edit/relaunch of something already out in the world, this is a great time for it.  If you have something of a short-term nature (like 3-6 months and no more than around 9 or so months), then this is an awesome date for that.  Expansion of love and money is the theme of this transit.

 

August 11 —  Jupiter direct at 14° of Sagittarius  -  Jupiter had been retrograde since early April. Now direct, it heralds an exciting time of forward movement returning! Expect ambitions and other things that may have been blocked or stagnant to have more oomph starting now.  Any area of life can get a boost now and particularly things in the arenas of writing, publishing, speaking, teaching, learning, international business and other connections, different countries and/or languages, including travel, spiritual work or other pursuits, and anything else related to Sagittarius.

 

August 11 —  Uranus goes retrograde at 6° of Taurus (back to 2° of Taurus then direct on January 11, 2020) -  The planet of ‘shock and awe’ start to do its work on more of an internal level or work over ground previously worked on.  Radical change comes from this planet, for better and worse, and when it is in retrograde it seeks to prepare your inner space for future change.  Themes that came in as a surprise in the past could be further developed now.

 

August 13-14 —  Sun in Leo Conjunct Venus in Leo - Exciting news and events are more likely now.  A chance to be seen in a bigger way comes from this transit.  Things involving children, romance, fun, and creativity all burn brighter now. One possible pitfall of the connection is excess ego or drama but still I love this time for a launch or anything else important.

 

 

August 15 —  Full Moon a 22° of Aquarius  - Time for fruition, completion, fulfillment, or drama around any topics ruled by Aquarius: internet or other tech-related projects, community or group focus (this could be online, in person, global or local), friends, friendships, acquaintances, social media, and humanitarian efforts to name a few.  Check out my blog Full Moon in Aquarius Reveal & Release Ceremony to make the most of the transit. A beautiful aspect with Mercury and Chiron enhance the awesome potentials of this time.  I love this time for launches and important steps.  While I am leaning towards the likelihood of this full moon manifesting in positive ways, and I am not officially listing it as a transit to watch out for stress and drama, those possibilities are always increased at all full moons.

 

 

August 16 —  Mercury in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus -  In this month of many happy surprise potentials, this is the second of the two aspects (the first being on August 2) that have more of a chance for an unpleasant jostling.    Shocking news and other events are more likely now and extra protection of the physical body is more necessary.  I have seen this manifest as a pleasant surprise but one that brings simultaneous conflict or other challenge.

 

 

 

August 21 —   Mercury in Leo Trine Jupiter in Sagittarius — This is one of my five favorite aspects for major launches, brand new endeavors and anything else important that has some aspect of it being a big deal, a long-term venture, or something brand new.  Amazing news could come in now.  I love this for anything important and especially publishing or anything else related to Sagittarius (see a more detailed list above on August 11 Jupiter Direct listing).

 

August 24 —  Venus in Virgo Conjunct Mercury in Virgo  — Powerful news about love or money is more likely now.  Major recognition is likely but an equal possible manifestation is criticism or necessary harsh analysis about a relationship or money situation by you or from someone else about you.  This is a time of great power for focus on details and also great for giving to a worthy cause.

 

 

August 26   —  Venus in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus  — I LOVE this day for launches, big decisions, and major steps of any kind.  Love and money get a wonderful boost from Uranus.  This could bring surprises that are more likely to be happy and welcome.  I love it for harmonizing internet/social media/technology with finances.  A brilliant time for a website or other tech launch!

 

 

August 28  —  Mars in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus — This is another day I absolutely love for anything important. Action and genius blend together amazingly now giving solid support for important launches and other endeavors.  Meticulous detail mixes with inspiration in wonderful ways.

 

August 30  —  New Moon at almost 7° of Virgo — Time to make your New Moon Wishes on the topics of anything Virgo.  Pets, health, daily routine, work experience, employment, structures/systems, are all areas that have extra support for wishing and manifestation now.  See my blog, Making Powerful New Moon in Virgo Wishes for more on how to best use this time so rich with potential.

 

August 31/September 1  —  Mercury in Virgo Trine Uranus in Taurus and Venus in Virgo Trine Saturn in Capricorn — Surprise or expected news that is positive and welcome is more likely now.  This is an amazing time for communications and commitments. This is yet ANOTHER time I LOVE for absolutely anything important!  Major steps, launches, big plans all have major support now.  There is some extra special additional energy for long-term stability and outcomes for things done at this time.
