September 2019  ~ TO GET TO THE GOLD, ASK THESE CRITICAL QUESTIONS …

 

There was a massive amount of energy opened for expansion in August. It is very common that in the midst of an expansion, there is a time of analysis and second-guessing. September is that time. While there are many beautiful aspects, there are also quite a few oppositions to Neptune which tend to bring uncertainty and self-doubt reflected from the outside. All of the planets that synced up harmoniously with Jupiter in August are now forming challenging squares which is a natural time of checks and balances. Is the foundation strong enough to continue expansion? Do ambitions have to be reigned in to be sustainable? Have you found a comfortable spot to have a plateau to rest and evaluate what has happened? Have you overextended yourself and now I need to shift priorities and commitments?  Are there details you missed that you now have to address or details necessary for moving forward?  Are you close enough to your goal to push hard this month to attain it before the retrograde spree begins? What can you do now that will set you up to best use the last open period before the wall of retrogrades coming soon?

 

Hardwork, discipline, and creating systems are a great way to use the excessive Earth energies this month and can really pay off. Previous work done can come in now a big way. Amidst the analysis decisions have to be made, there is great energy for breakthroughs but getting to the gold may require getting down and dirty with the details.

 

There were around 14 aspects of note in August.  In September there are almost DOUBLE notable transits making it a very busy month astrologically and very likely to lead to overstimulation and exhaustion.  But within the craziness, there is something very important to note about this month as it relates to the bigger picture of the stars over the rest of 2019 and all of 2020.  This month is the first month for a while and the last month for even longer that is completely clear of personal planet retrogrades and their shadow periods.  These open stars last until October 12 when the pre-shadow transit of Mercury begins with Mercury going retrograde on October 31 through November 20 and the post-shadow transit lasting through December 8. Looking ahead to 2020 this month of September 2019 is even more important to note as it is the last month of 2019 that doesn’t have any personal planet retrograde or shadow period at all and looking at the bigger picture of 2020, only January 2020 has no personal planet retrograde or shadow period.  2020 is going to be a whole year with retrograde energies as a main theme. Viewing it this way makes this month of September 2019 even more important because even though there are definitely obstacles this month, more challenging than sweet aspects, and many aspects that could go either way, this is still one of the best months for big launches and major decisions. December 9, 2019 through February 2, 2020 is the last completely clear period before the wall of retrogrades that dominate the whole rest of 2020.

 

 

There is still a chance for eclipse related stories to be in the forefront but mostly at this point it is about settling into the possibly drastic changes that occurred in recent times from the eclipses.

 

 

While I am not as wild about this month as I was about August, this is still one of the best months of the year for taking important, albeit WELL-PLANNED steps and making CALCULATED decisions.  The Virgo energy this month really calls out for not throwing caution to the wind but still taking important actions.  In the daily details below, I have listed my favorite aspects for doing important things but do please note my recommendation below to follow your flow over the dates listed as we have different ways of experiencing the conflicting energies.

 

The Libra energies that start to dominate towards the end of the month get back into accord with now direct Jupiter bringing the chance for more flow and benevolence after the several conflicts with Virgo placements and Jupiter earlier in the month.

 

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24, and 28.

 

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 2,3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26, and 30.

September 2 — Sun and Mars Conjunct in Virgo —  Amazing powers of focus and detail are available now.  Great for pulling through tedious projects. Criticism could come from self or others, hopefully it manifests as constructive.

 

September 2 — Venus in Virgo Square Jupiter in Sagittarius — Annoying details could seem to stand in the way of your bigger vision.  Big plans could be put to the feasibility test now.  Keep the hope, though, because even if you have to pare down the current vision for a while, laying a strong foundation now can help you soar later.

 

September 3 —  Sun and Mercury Conjunct in Virgo - Similar energy to the Sun/Mars conjunction yesterday.  Criticism could come up but if you are looking for help with analyzing something, it could really give you important pieces.  It is a great time to seek the help of an expert who knows details of your topic of interest better than you may.  This is a great time for productivity and for working out a plan or system.

 

September 4 —  Venus in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces - Disillusionment is common with this aspect.  Feeling disappointed or defeated is common but take heart, the effects usually last just a few days.  Guard your property and person.  Breeches to security of every kind could be more likely now. Alternatively, you could summon your superhero self and find amazing balance between seen and unseen realms, emotion and tangible action, and details and abstract :)

 

September 5 —  Mercury in Virgo Trine Saturn in Virgo - I LOVE this aspect for launches, short and long-term commitments, and anything important.  The aspect with Mercury and Jupiter tomorrow whispers the warning to not overcommit but it like the line-up at the beginning of the month, could just manifest as the exhaustion of birthing something important :)

 

 

 

September 6 —  Mercury in Virgo Square Jupiter in Sagittarius  - Exhaustion from overdoing is more likely now. If it is a result of bringing something important out into the world then it could be a normal and welcome part of the ‘birthing’ process.

September 7 —  Mercury in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces - Similar energy to Sept. aspect with Venus and Neptune. Disillusionment is common with this aspect.  Feeling disappointed or defeated is common but take heart, the effects usually last just a few days.  Guard your property and person.  Breeches to security of every kind could be more likely now. Alternatively, you could summon your superhero self and find amazing balance between seen and unseen realms, emotion and tangible action, and details and abstract :)

 

 

September 8 —  Sun in Virgo Square Jupiter in Sagittarius - Similar energy to Sept 2 and 6 - Feeling overworked or having great resistance show up is common.  A good time to take time to rest.  Big plans may be challenged as necessary details are dealt with.

 

 

September 8 —  Mercury in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn - I LOVE this aspect for launches, short and long-term commitments, and anything important.  Great news of support could come now.

 

September 8-9 —  Mars in Virgo Trine Saturn in Capricorn - I LOVE this aspect for launches, short and long-term commitments, and anything important.  Muscling through details could bring amazing and permanent results.

 

 

September 10 —  Sun in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces - Similar energy to Sept. 4 and 7 - Disillusionment is common with this aspect.  Feeling disappointed or defeated is common but take heart, the effects usually last just a few days.  Guard your property and person.  Breeches to security of every kind could be more likely now. Exhaustion and overwhelm is more likely now.  Alternatively, you could summon your superhero self and find amazing balance between seen and unseen realms, emotion and tangible action, and details and abstract :)

 

 

September 12 —  Mars in Virgo Square Jupiter in Sagittarius - Similar energy to Sept 2, 6, and 8 - Feeling overworked or having great resistance show up is common.  A good time to take time to rest.  Big plans may be challenged as necessary details are dealt with.

 

 

September 13-14 —  Full Moon at 21° of Pisces - with Sun in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces -  Fullness, completion, fruition, drama in the areas ruled by Pisces.  See a long list of areas of life this moon is likely to bring up as well as see how to maximize the potentials in my blog, Full Moon in Pisces Reveal & Release.  The Sun/Pluto trine offers massive potential for release of karma and other blocks.  Mars opposing Neptune along with the Full Moon being in Pisces (ruled by Neptune), increases the likelihood of feeling inadequate in some way.  Hopefully this aspect will be given healing and resolution help by the Sun/Pluto trine.

 

September 15-16 —  Mercury and Venus in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries - The odds are very high for a conflict with love or money at this time or news that could be rattling.  The ‘me’ vs. ‘we’ aspects of life are likely to come into conflict now.  Trying to find balance between self-protection and expression and relationships will be challenging but conflicts had now could bring movement towards healing and resolution.

 

September 18 —  Saturn Direct at 13° of Capricorn -  Much karma had a chance to be sorted out during the time Saturn was retrograde (since April 29, 2019). Now direct, much progress can be made without the blockages that were blasted through in the previous 5 months.

 

September 19 —  Mars in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn - I LOVE this aspect for launches, short and long-term commitments, and anything important.  This energy brings great ambition with an increased chance of support from places that could boost your mission.  Psychological or spiritual breakthroughs are more likely now.  Advances in important partnerships or important new meetings could occur now that feel ‘fated’ and can bring great outcomes.

 

September 21 —  Jupiter in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces -  This is the third and last exact line up of these outer planets this year.  The first pass was in January, the second was in June.  This has been a time of testing the limits for expansion and the subsequent necessary reigning in of ambitions run wild.  Either a conclusion was come to that the expansion spree has to halt for rest and reevaluation and/or help had or still has to be procured in order to manage what has been created and lay a foundation for further growth.  In some cases, expansion could have been challenged from various internal and external forces and healing/clearing out of the blocks need focus in order to see progress.  Depending on how you have handled the situations that have come up thus far, there may be no more work to do and now can be a time of sweet accomplishment from learning the lessons of the first two passes.  In general, it is a time to be conservative with commitments, making sure big vision has a healthy dose of realism.  If this is done, great progress can be accomplished.

 

September 22 —  Mercury in Libra Square Saturn in Capricorn -  Similar to energy on Sept. 25 and Sept. 26. Forces seem to work against expression and mobility at this time.  A stern authority figure may hover over you saying ‘I told you so’ if you have an issue that they tried to help you prevent. Your expression could fall under scrutiny giving a chance for deep self-esteem issues to heal.  This energy could cast light on whose approval you need and make you question why you feel you need it.

 

September 23 —  Fall Equinox - A magical time of balance of light!  Ceremonies and meditation are wonderful now as the portals between worlds are more accessible.

 

 

September 24 —  Mercury in Libra Sextile Jupiter in Sagittarius -  I LOVE this aspect for launches, Short and long-term commitments, and anything important.  Communication, mobility, and expansion in any arena of life is more likely now. Publishing, writing, teaching, international business or travel, all light up in magical ways.

 

September 25 —  Venus in Libra Square Saturn in Capricorn -  Similar to energy on Sept. 22 and Sept. 26

 

September 26 —  Mercury in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn - Similar to energy on Sept. 22 and Sept. 25. The quest for approval from someone in power could prove challenging at this time.  This aspect could make someone not play fair and leave you feeling voiceless.  Any aspect like this is stressful but wonderful for showing unresolved issues with power and how it is often used in ways that seem unfair.  Inner work on these issues could prove very fruitful now making it less likely to come up as a great charge in the future.

 

September 26 —  Sun in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries  - Similar to the energies on Sept. 15-16. Trying to find balance between self-protection and expression and relationships will be challenging but conflicts had now could bring movement towards healing and resolution.  Vitality may be sapped and the victim/tyrant experience showing in full flare. Oppositions usually bring stress but there is the chance for transcendence from this pulling in two directions.  You could hit a sweet stride from your efforts for balance that could leave you feeling great.

September 30 - October 1 —  Venus in Libra Square Pluto in Capricorn -  This aspect often brings power struggles in love and money.  Partnerships vs. self are likely to show in a big way.  Someone who has power over you either in very clear ways or more subtle ways may teach a lesson about necessary steps to your empowerment that may protect you from similar situations in the future.  This could be used as an excuse to not be ‘vulnerable’ but if you look closer you will likely find there is a dynamic at play that has been present your whole life in one way or another.  Deep healing could allow for standing in your truth in stronger ways while still leaving open the door for deeper intimacy instead of isolation.
