June 2019  ~ DRAMATIC ECLIPSE NEWS & CHANGES

 

The open window for action free and clear from personal planet retrogrades continues for most of June.  Starting around the 20th, the Mercury retrograde shadow period begins bringing uncertainty and changes to plans.

 

The planets in Gemini bring crazy busy-ness and dizzying options swirling around as potentials and crystallizing as manifestations while the Cancer energies being present in equal amount all month bring high emotion, nostalgia, home, family, and housing related topics into the forefront.

 

The two July eclipses bring ripe opportunities for major news and events, radical trajectory changes, emotional endings, and sparkly new beginnings.  Even though the eclipses occur in July, there is an increased chance of eclipse-related occurrences starting around 6 or more weeks BEFORE the actual eclipses.  Since the first eclipse is July 2, we could see the influence of that event start stirring notable things up even in middle May.

 

The current Cancer/Capricorn eclipse cycle started mid-2018 and will continue through mid- 2020.  Major changes in the areas of home and work, male and female energetic expressions, things related to parents and parenting have been more likely for all signs and more changes in areas represented in the houses of each sign (see my June and July 2019 horoscopes for more details about the manifestation potentials for each sign specifically).

 

The storylines that were started at the onset of the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse cycle could have notable progress during the whole time of the eclipse cycle but 6 or so weeks before and after each eclipse in the cycle brings the likelihood of the energies showing up in a bigger way and the stories that were more quiet and in the backdrop come into the forefront to be dealt with or experienced.

 

To better understand the types of changes that are likely to manifest from the eclipses, remember back to years in the past when the eclipse cycle previously in the Cancer/Capricorn polarity - 2009-2011 and 2000-2001.

 

There is an equal amount of positive and challenging planetary aspects so this is a month where attitude, perspective, and inner work can really tip the scales as to how the powerful astrological forces are experienced by the individual.

June 2 —  Venus in Taurus Trine Pluto in Capricorn —  Passion, intensity, love, and money can come together in glorious ways at this time.  Great for launches and other important things.

   

 

 

June 3 —  New Moon in Gemini at 12° — Time for New Moon Wishes on the topics of Gemini!  See ways to best use the power of this New Moon in my blog on the topic.

 

June 7 — Mercury in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus (and Mercury in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries) —  Surprise news and events are more likely now.  The aspect with Uranus is sweet, but the Square with Chiron is salty.  This could bring a happy ending from an upset, or a great opportunity that is somehow bittersweet or has challenges to push through to get the gold.

 

June 9 — Sun in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces — Confusion and deception often come with this transit.  It is not a time to force decisions.  Take the time for clarity before commitments if possible.  Zaps to life force energy some way or just general tiredness can also come from this.

 

June 10 — Sun in Gemini Opposing Jupiter in Sagittarius — This coupled with the aspect the day before could bring a burning desire to do something big.  If you are sure of it, then the negative results could just be the exhaustion from pulling it through, the thing to be careful of is overcommitting and deciding without taking the time to understand the full picture or ramifications.  Guard your health.

 

June 13-14 —  Mars in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces and Opposing Saturn in Capricorn  - This combination often brings an intuitive certainty that ‘real life’ or an authority figure tries to counteract.  There may be some truth to the naysaying that if considered could strengthen the bigger plan.  Ultimately the ‘feeling’ likely override the ‘thinking’ at this time.

 

June 16 —  Mercury in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces (and Mercury in Cancer Opposing Saturn in Capricorn) -  More of the same type of energy as the previous aspect.  This one could also include news that is mixed - an opportunity with a corresponding challenge.

 

June 16 —  Jupiter in Sagittarius Square Neptune in Pisces -  We had this aspect first on January 13, 2019.  This is the second pass, and the last will be September 21, 2019.  See if you can remember certain themes that came up at the first pass as they will likely return in some way.  It is well-indicated to avoid being overly optimistic at this time and also to avoid any risk-taking behaviors that may have worked in the past.  The odds are more in favor of disappointment now than triumph.  A positive way to see this transit is that it helps to show the limits of the expansion that is likely occurring at this time from Jupiter moving through Sagittarius and all the planets being direct.  We need to have structure to be in form and as the energy now is very upward moving, some checks have to come in to show us where to set our new norm for a while as we prepare for future expansion.  Settling into the new norm and taking a break from the frenetic pace of increase can be a sweet way to avoid lessons that would be trying to guide to this anyway :)  This is also Father’s day in the United States.  Themes involving previously unresolved issues with dad or father figures (also could translate as authority/authority figures and male side of self) are likely to come up now with opportunities for further resolution.

 

 

June 17 —  Full Moon at almost 26° of Sagittarius  -  Fullness, completion, fruition come in the areas of Sagittarius at this time.  Big travel plans could come to pass now or headway/plans could be made for future adventure.  Teaching, learning, publishing, and spiritual studies are also in the domain of Sagittarius.  For more info on how best to use this energy, check out my blog, Powerful Full Moon in Sagittarius Reveal and Release Ceremony.

 

 

June 18 —  Saturn in Capricorn Sextile Neptune in Pisces - This is the second pass of three this year, with the first having been January 31 and the third being November 8.  It is characterized by material gains coming from spiritual focus and pursuits.  It can also manifest as any other beautiful blending of the lesser seen and more tangible realms.  It is a very rare and auspicious transit :)

 

 

June 19 —   Mercury in and Mars Conjunct in Cancer both Opposing Pluto in Capricorn —  The combination of Mercury and Mars in Cancer can lead to emotionally driven conversations and actions (for better and worse, so check your motives before taking action to make sure you are clear enough to make decisions).  The oppositions with Pluto can bring ambition, aggression, and accomplishment.  In certain cases it could bring danger from an aggressive person so tread lightly around charged topics or people. Very often a ‘battle’ is raging, which could be internal or external. Win-win and positive transformation can be the outcome of the battle and this would be the best case scenario of the potentials.  So shoot for that if possible! The opposition between Capricorn and Cancer energies could bring challenges, accomplishments, and/or overstimulation between home and work, the inner and outer realms, and/or parents or male/female energies.

 

 

June 23 —  Venus in Gemini Opposing Jupiter in Sagittarius  —  Although oppositions are usually stressful, this particular combination in that aspect has the best chance for being fun.  The tendency to over-do could be magnified so watch out for that.  Sometimes it manifests as overspending and overcelebrating.  If you have the budget, this can be fine.  If you are watching your money, be extra cautious now.

 

 

June 24   —  Venus in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces  — Disappointment and insecurity tend to roll in with this combination.  But lemonade can be made from any lemons that are brought now if you take the time to truly tend to the deep unresolved issues that are being brought up.  Usually it is hard to see clearly in love, money, and beauty-related choices at this time.

 

 

June 27  —  Sun in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus (and Sun Square  Chiron in Aries) —  The aspect with the Sun and Uranus tends to bring positive excitement and pleasant surprises.  The aspect with Chiron tends to bring the feeling of discouragement or feeling tired/worn down, having a health issue. A possible positive way these two could blend is for a powerful pleasant surprise that causes too much excitement that you get worn down from it.  Alternatively there could be a challenge that turns out fine or two separate and unrelated manifestations - like one great thing and one difficult one happening at the same time.
