September 2018  ~ Major Movement & Momentum

Mars is finally awake after two months of deep slumber (plus an additional six plus weeks of pre-transit shadow where it was getting sleepier every day until the actually retrograde which started June 26.)  Even though it will take until October 10 to regain full steam, the shift in direction that officially occurred August 27 will very likely be already noticeable at the beginning of September.

Ambitions that had laid dormant, projects that were tabled, plans attempted that didn’t get off the ground, will all have more energy for taking flight once again.  Some people will experience this reawakening slowly and others will feel at some moment like the light switch to their energy levels and ambitions just got re-turned on.  Also, as mentioned in previous videos, blogs, and monthly write-up’s, there are those whose ambitions actually awaken during Mars retrograde.  For you all, you will feel the return of your normal energy levels and ways of using your energy between now and early October.

I love that at this time at the very end of August and early September when most will start feel this stirring of excitement and energy, that we also have a series of AMAZING aspects to support major movement and momentum.

We have at least ten beautiful aspects this month, including a carry-over from the wonderful Saturn and Uranus Earth Trine from last month that will be very strong still through September 14 and will still be evident for some time after then.  There is a major amount of outer planet harmony which is rare and these can bring major positive milestones.

There are a fewer amount of aspects that can bring stress and challenge but at least the effects of those could be mitigated by the other more harmonious ones.  Overall the energy of the month is very high and positive with a few patches to be aware of in between the good vibes which I will outline below.

The first week or so of September is the most free from the retrograde energies than we have been for a while and will be for a while. This could be the perfect time for a mini-launch or taking some other important steps.  News or advancements may also come to you without your having to do anything to go after them.

While Mars is waking up, Venus will start its descent into retrograde, but even still, we have a great opening to bring things out into the world, make important decisions, and do other things of importance before the Venus retrograde transit takes over as the main current theme.

I have created a massive amount material about Venus retrograde so although I will summarize some things to know about this transit here and will be going into more details my the September through December Youtube Horoscopes, I highly recommend that you educate yourself with these and other resources to learn about the very important things to know about this cycle that happens around every 18 months. Venus will be in retrograde fro October 5 - November 15.  The pre-transit shadow period starts September 4 and the post-transit shadow period stretches until December 18.

In general, when Venus is in retrograde, we are not seeing clearly in love, beauty, or money.  Issues in any of these arenas will likely return from the past. Alternatively, wonderful opportunities and fruitions could come from the past.  Decisions in money, love, or aesthetics are best to be carefully scrutinized before making.  I have outlined lots of guidelines and caveats to this in my Venus Retrograde ~ Do’s & Donts Video.

As I have talked about at length in previous blogs and videos, personal planet retrogrades can sometimes have opposite effects for those with the retrograde planet at birth.  So those of you with Venus Retrograde in your natal chart, you may have different or opposite experiences than the norm that I mention in this report, and corresponding videos and blogs.  Also, check out my blog “Wonderful Attributes of Venus Retrograde in the Natal Chart.”

The eclipses of July and August could still be bringing in effects in September and beyond. Sometimes eclipse news comes days or weeks after the eclipses and for the stories that have already been in process, new developments can continue to unfold this month and beyond.

Although movement and momentum will likely be returning and there could be a good window to strike or push out something important, the theme of ‘being the spider’ is still a long-term theme that runs into mid-December - During this time of dominating personal planet retrogrades, it is good to consider letting the things that are meant for you come in without too much agenda or forcing.  It is a fine time to be ‘comfortably productive’ and work on projects in the backdrop, just pay attention to the signs and if things aren’t flowing, either stop or try a different way.

September 3 — Mercury in Leo Sextile Venus in Libra  — This is a beautiful aspect for social connections, harmony, and creative projects.  It is also great for things involving children.

September 6  —  Saturn Direct at 2° of Capricorn  —  Saturn in retrograde is a time to focus on the strength of foundations and now as it turns direct, the focus will return to forward moving, testing the new areas strengthened in recent months to see if more adjustments need to be made for future expansion.

August 14 - September 14 — Saturn in Capricorn Trine Uranus in Taurus —  A very extended, blissful series of blessings from this ongoing favorable aspect.  It could bring many things to beautiful and tangible fruition.

September 7  —  Mercury in Virgo Trine both Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus - GRAND TRINE  —  The ongoing trine with Saturn and Uranus gets an additional boost now with the Sun moving into a Grand Trine configuration.  Everyone has potential to be blessed from these transits but those with 2 degree placements in Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus, or Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces will receive even more potential blessings.

September 7  —  Sun in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces  — Pay extra attention at this time as this aspect can bring confusion, deceit, or security breeches.

September 8 —  Venus in Libra Square Mars in Capricorn  — Male and female energies may have some conflict with this one.  A prelude to unresolved issues in money and love coming up as a theme for the next few months from the upcoming Venus retrograde transit.

September 9  —  New Moon at 17° of Virgo — Time to make your 10 New Moon Wishes in things involving health, diet, healing work, medical topics or professions, animals/pets, workplace issues or pursuits, and organization/personal systems.  Two sweet outer planet aspects (Pluto and Jupiter) give this New Moon a positive boost.  A challenging aspect with Neptune can bring confusion or uncertainty.  Guard your personal data and possessions.

September 11 — Sun in Virgo Sextile Jupiter in Scorpio — Enhanced discernment, positive outcomes from an analytical eye, powerful partnering creating awesome service, and more with this great aspect.

September 12 — Jupiter in Scorpio Sextile Pluto in Capricorn — This aspect can bring improvements in public stature, business advancements, powerful partnerships, the support of people or organizations with means, wealth building, and success in any area in life. Good vibes and other benefits from this outer planet harmonious connection can be felt all month (even starting at the end of August).  It is strongest from September 7 - 13.  The potential benefits can effect everyone and people with Earth or Water placements from 13 - 23 degrees (especially those closest to 18 degrees) can receive even more kisses from this amazing line-up.

September 12 — Venus in Scorpio Opposing Uranus in Taurus  — Jolts or other surprises in the arenas of love, money, appearance, or self-esteem can come up with this aspect.  Have some extra money aside in case it manifests as an unexpected expense.  Alternatively there could be an amazing opportunity to do something that may require a financial investment.  Feel into intuition clearly now as the upcoming Venus retrograde could start clouding judgement already and anything committed to will likely be tested over coming months.  Because of the simultaneous awesome Jupiter/Pluto aspect, some of the potential negatives of this transit could be mitigated.  Also with this aspect look for clashes or overstimulation of the “me vs. we” sectors.  Setting healthy boundaries in a loving but firm way may be called for now.

September 13 —  Mercury in Virgo Opposing Neptune in Pisces  —   Confusion, miscommunication, and deception are more likely now.  Try to avoid making commitments or signing agreement unless you feel clear.  A simultaneous sextile with Mars in Aquarius and Chiron in Aries can support and protect in endeavors but still don’t hesitate to take some time to think out and feel into big decisions.  Artistic/creative work is favored at this time.

September 15  —  Mercury in Virgo Trine Pluto in Capricorn  —  Communication and mental powers are especially strong now.  Powers of persuasion can be enhanced for you but also for others who are trying to get you to do something.  Carefully feel into things that feel “too good to be true”.

September 16  —  Mercury in Virgo Sextile Jupiter in Scorpio —  This aspect is great for studying, test-taking, and travel.  Be aware, however, that the aspect with Mars and Uranus on September 18 could be felt as early as now and requires extra caution with all endeavors.

September 18 —  Mars in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus —  The drive to be erratic and rebellious may be strong now.  Try to find ways to bend convention without risking injury or needless fights that could backfire.  Many people will be more on edge now.  Avoid antagonizing anyone and try to stay out of situations that you know push your buttons.  Go easy on exercise, important conversations, or anything else as the odds are increased for over-enthusiasm or anger that could cloud judgement.  Be really careful driving or operating heavy machinery and walkers/bikers take extra notice of your environment at this time.

September 20  —  Sun in Virgo Conjunction with Mercury in Virgo — Powers of perception, analysis, and discernment can be extra high now.  This is great for things that need focus and organization.  It is an amazing transit to clean and organize home, business, car, or anything else.  Criticism could also run high now.

September 21-22  —  Mercury in Libra Opposing Chiron in Aries — Thoughtless communication could bring up deep wounds.  Also this transit could bring news about a physical malady.

September 23  —  Mercury in Libra Square Saturn in Capricorn —  This aspect can be great for hard work but may favor solo work as communication may be off and relationship issues are more likely to come up.  Criticism could come now and general negativity is also more likely.

September 23  —  Mercury in Libra Trine Mars in Aquarius —  This brings great mental power and the opportunity for amazing conversations and social/work connectiions.

September 24  —  Full Moon at 2° of Aries —  Fullness, completion, fruition, and/or drama are more likely in the arenas of your physical body (especially the head, brain, and things related to these parts), recognition, image, individuality, pioneering efforts, daring goals, and anything else related to Aries.  This Full Moon is boosted with sweetness by trine with Jupiter and sextile with Mars but can also have additional intensity and challenges coming from a Saturn square and Chiron conjunction.  Chiron involvement often brings in the energy of the Victim/Tyrant polarity and Saturn often brings criticism or pressure.

September 25  —  Chiron returns to Pisces — Chiron will make its last visit in Pisces for many decades.  It is a fantastic transit for clearing out generational/ancestral negative patterning, going to deeper levels of mind mastery, doing past-life work, working deeper with dreamtime.  It is always wonderful for discovering or developing artistic talents and deep communion with nature and taking quiet/retreat time.

September 27  —  Sun in Libra Trine Mars in Aquarius —  This aspect is great for confidence and enthusiasm.  It can bring positive use of assertiveness and is great for attracting or expressing positive masculine energy.

September 30-October 1  —  Pluto Direct at 18° of Capricorn — Pluto is always working deep regardless of whether it is direct or retrograde but we do often see more influence on our internal world when it is retrograde and more influence on our external world when it is direct.  Things worked on  since the end of April internally and closer to us, like home, close relationships, psychological patterning, etc. are likely to show more noticeable outcomes now.
