October 2015 ~ "Love, Beauty, Money"
Venus continues to take center stage into October. The planet of love, beauty, and money started dominating the astrological scene towards the end of June and has been front and center ever since. The main storyline until now had brought the focus on this planet that rules relationships, finances, and esthetics into either retrograde or in the equally as
powerful shadow of that transit. As of October 9 the retrograde story ends... and then the new story of Venus aspecting almost all of the outer planets begins.
October 10 delivers Venus (which by the way, is the hottest planet temperature-wise due to the combination of an incredibly thick atmosphere and its proximity to the Sun) into a square, which is thought to be a challenging but potentially productive aspect, with Saturn. Often associated with "reality-check's",
Saturn is the energy of that older, wiser person or rule that usually in this type of angle turns out to have control or final say in something you want or are doing. This could also come as a "voice of reason" in an insistent and likely annoying way. Choosing practicality here brings the highest gains.
October 16 moves our heroine into further drama with an opposition, another challenging angle, with Neptune. Neptune rules artistic endeavors, spiritual topics,
and addictions. Often an angle like that with this ruler of dreamtime makes things unclear and chaotic. Much momentum from Mercury and Venus going direct is building but waiting a little longer to burst forth is indicated.
Now here, on October 23, the leading lady (Venus) starts to come out on top with a gorgeous and auspicious trine, a powerful angle with positive gusto, with Pluto. I see these angles our gorgeous feminine Venus is making with these "outer"
planets (the ones further from the Sun) as "flirting", helping to bring the best out of the behemoth's she is interacting with. It is THIS time you have been waiting for to make decisions, launches, and enjoy FORWARD movement.
The grand finale arrives quickly after on October 25, with our super-star Venus joining with the Great Benefic, the luck-bringer, Jupiter, in the most powerful aspect in astrology, a conjunction. After all of the drama, going back over things,
challenges, and hyper-focus, of the previous 4 months, the story and month both end with the expansion of love, beauty, and money.

The greatest benefits come from "Earth-bound" pursuits due to the pair up being in the Earth element - practical, business-related, and service-oriented dreams get major backing during this rare cooperation of two heavy-hitters.
October 11 -- Sun in Libra Opposing Uranus Aries -- Uranus always bring the element of electricity to a situation. The Sun rules our life
force energy. This combo brings a tangible feel of "buzzing" and restlessness. The urge to break free, be noticed, make waves, REBEL, is strong now.
