November’s astrology embodies “The Lantern and the Labyrinth”. With such strong Scorpio energy, we enter the labyrinth of hidden truths, shadow work, and emotional transformation. Scorpio takes us inward, guiding us through twisting passages where secrets and intensity dwell. This can feel confusing, like wandering through winding tunnels, but it is in the labyrinth that treasures of empowerment and rebirth are found.

Then comes the lantern: Sagittarius’ fire brings light, perspective, and adventure to guide us through the darkness. As planets move into Sagittarius, we feel a shift toward optimism, discovery, and higher vision. The lantern symbolizes hope, wisdom, and the clarity to find our way through Scorpio’s depths and emerge ready for growth. Together, the labyrinth and the lantern perfectly illustrate this month’s blend of mystery and momentum — inner exploration paired with forward-looking expansion.

TOP NOVEMBER POINTS:

1. November finally shifts us back into more sweet than salty aspects. The ratio has been favoring salty for a while, but now we see a positive shift. There are still 12 nuisance aspects that will pop up stress here and there, but they are matched and outwitted by 14 brilliant sweet aspects scattered throughout the month. There are also a few that could go either way. I will detail the highlights in the second half of this newsletter.

2. We are fully in Mercury retrograde this month with the pre-shadow period building up from October 21, officially going retro November 9, and then shifting direct November 29, with the post-shadow period stretching until around December 17.

Mercury retrograde and its shadow time are very much like walking with a lantern in a heavy fog…you can only see a few feet ahead of you, so you move more slowly and carefully, sometimes retracing steps to try to get clear about your direction. This is versus direct time when the sun comes out and clears the fog and you can see a long distance ahead. But for this month, be prepared to slow down and bring your focus to what immediately needs attention in front of you, rather than conjuring big plans for the road further ahead.

3. The Eclipse Story:

November finally starts to clear from eclipse season. While information and experiences related to the continuous unfolding of the storylines related to the eclipses can occur at any time, most of the intensity should be settling back into the backdrop.

4. We have 2 super-concentrated zodiac stars this month, Scorpio and Sagittarius.

The Sun will be in Scorpio from October 24 - November 23, Mercury from November 20 - December 12, Venus from November 7 - December 1, and Mars from September 30 - November 5. That is a VERY POWERFUL and excessive showing of deeply emotional water!

The fire mixed with water making steam can be very productive, but there also is a clear resistance while merging these very different energetics.

When the planets move through Scorpio, the veil thins and life feels deeper, more magnetic, and more transformative. These transits pull us inward, toward truth, passion, and rebirth. Hidden dynamics surface, power plays are revealed, and we’re called to own our intensity instead of shying away from it. It’s a time to release what’s toxic, claim inner strength, and transmute challenges into fuel for empowerment, intimacy, and profound personal breakthroughs.

Sun in Scorpio
The Sun in Scorpio lights up transformation, magnetism, and mystery. Identity gets infused with intensity, and life feels more potent, passionate, and private. This is a season for shedding old skins, exploring shadow work, and leaning into reinvention. Clarity comes not from logic alone but from instinct and emotional truth. The Scorpio Sun supports you in claiming your power, facing what’s hidden, and stepping into a renewed version of yourself that can’t be ignored.

Mercury in Scorpio
Mercury in Scorpio sharpens perception and deepens conversations. Thoughts pierce below the surface, uncovering hidden motives and secret truths. Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius
Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius invites reflection on beliefs, plans, and long-term visions. Travel hiccups, miscommunications, or delays in studies may arise, but these are prompts to pause and refine. This period supports reviewing philosophical frameworks, retracing learning paths, and reexamining goals for alignment with truth. What seemed expansive may need adjustment; what felt scattered can be re-centered. Mars in Sagittarius

Of all the aspects this month, the longest lasting and the most profound effects will likely come from the one on October 23, Jupiter in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries. This is because it is between two OUTER planets, whereas the others are between one inner planet and one outer planet, which are shorter in duration and intensity.

While the official aspect happens on October 23, the influence of this connection gets strong in the middle of September and will be VERY STRONG ALL of OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, and beyond!

Jupiter in Cancer square Chiron in Aries is a long-lasting aspect that blends expansion, healing, and vulnerability in a way that invites deep personal growth. Jupiter in Cancer amplifies themes of emotional security, family, belonging, and the desire to nurture. Chiron in Aries exposes wounds around identity, independence, and the courage to assert oneself. The square creates tension between caring for others and standing fully in your own power.

On the high side, this aspect can bring profound healing in family dynamics, self-confidence, and emotional resilience. It encourages you to grow beyond old patterns, reclaim your voice, and blend compassion with self-assertion. The most influential aspect that is exact this month but has been in effect at least since MAY, every month, and will continue to be in close proximity for the rest of 2025 and beyond is:
