July 2025 Astrology ~ The QUEEN of LOVE & MONEY is HAPPY this month!

Here are some top points to know about the July 2025 Astrology. See my July 2025 Horoscope Videos/Podcasts  for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

1. We have notably UNBUSY SKIES in July (from the aspect perspective) which is in a stark contrast to the VERY BUSY skies of June when we had almost 30 meaningful mathematical connections between the stars! And I am very happy to share that most of these are SWEET! Just 3 nuisance connections this month  and a bit of lingering in early July from the major outer planet connections that happened in June. I will re-list these later in this report.

2. After having gone through MANY months of retrograde personal planets and their shadow periods, the story shifted in May and June which were lit up with FORWARD MOVEMENT! And now the tides start to shift again. Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron all return to retrograde motion, and of most easy-to-see influence is Mercury joining the retro flow.

July 18 is the official retro day (or close to it depending on your time zone), but the pre-transit shadow period begins July 1. The first few days of July may still be rich with progress but you will feel the confusion, plans being called into question, electronics going haywire, and miscommunications that are so typical of Mercury retro starting to become more of a thing as we progress further into July. Mercury will go direct in the days around August 11 and the post-transit shadow period will last until August 26.

3. The Eclipse Story:

After a dramatic ending to the 2-year era story of the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle and the second chapter in the very long (into 2027) Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle in March and April, we had a break time in the latter part of May and all of June. Now July starts the next eclipse season and you will see storylines begun towards the second half of 2024 continuing in their chapters now as we focus only on the Pisces/Virgo eclipse cycle and have a Lunar Eclipse at 15° of Pisces on September 7 and a Solar Eclipse at 29° on September 21. The eclipse “season” starts 4-6 (and sometimes even 8 weeks BEFORE the first eclipse) so as July progresses, expect new information to come in as the eclipse stories in motion evolve.

Pisces/Virgo eclipse stories will still be an under current until 2027, with the lessons and changes popping into the forefront every 6 months during eclipse season.

4. We have 4 zodiac stars this month, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo.

Venus is in Gemini for most of this month, moving in around July 5 and going until August 1.
This transit brings flirtatious energy, playful banter, and a craving for intellectual stimulation in love and social matters. People may feel more open to exploring different connections, trying new styles, or engaging in witty, lighthearted conversations. It’s a great time for short trips, refreshing your wardrobe, or launching creative ideas that involve writing, speaking, or tech.

The Sun goes into Cancer around June 22 and will stay until around July 23.
The Cancer Sun turns the collective focus toward home, family, and emotional safety. You may notice a desire to nest, connect with loved ones, or tend to personal roots and inner healing. This is also a powerful time to protect your energy, set boundaries, and prioritize the people and places that make you feel truly nourished.

Mercury starts the month in Leo and doubles down on that sign as it goes retro in Leo, making its’ transit through the fire lion last much longer than it usually would. It will stay in Leo until early September.
Communication takes on a dramatic, bold, and expressive flavor—perfect for storytelling, branding, or public speaking—but be mindful of miscommunications, especially when Mercury turns retrograde. This extended Mercury in Leo period gives everyone a chance to reevaluate how they express pride, creativity, and leadership. Old creative projects or ego wounds may resurface, offering a chance to rewrite the narrative with greater self-awareness.

The Sun joins the Leo party in the days around July 23.
When the Sun moves into Leo, life feels more vibrant, expressive, and focused on personal shine. Confidence builds, and there's a collective desire to be seen, celebrated, and take the stage in some area of life. This is a peak time for creative expression, romantic boldness, and aligning with what makes you feel powerful and proud.

Mars is in Virgo all month and until August 7. This transit fuels action through precision, practicality, and problem-solving. You may feel a stronger urge to organize, fix what’s broken, or take steady steps toward goals that require detailed effort. It’s a great time for refining routines, clearing clutter, and putting energy into health, service, or craftsmanship.

Here are some very notable dates to look out for as aspects occur on these days. The days may be staggered in different time zones and all of the aspects last longer than just the day they are on so look out for manifestations BEFORE and AFTER the aspect dates. 

Note, if a date is listed more than once for a sweet or salty, that is because there are MULTIPLE aspects that day!

SWEET ~ Wonderful boosts are more likely on or around these days: 6, 6, 7, 18, 22-23, 24, 24, and 28.

SALTY ~ Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 19, 23, and 24-25.

We have only 3 roadbump aspects this month. They all are brief and will pass quickly. Two are most noteworthy. There are two additional influences in the early part of July that are left over from major outer planet configuration in June. I will repost about those as you will likely see their influence still.

🌊 June 15 ~ Jupiter in Cancer Square Saturn in Aries (INFLUENCING THROUGH EARLY JULY)

This slow-building transit (active mid-May through early July, peaking around June 15 and especially potent the 10 days before and after) highlights tension between expansion and restriction—dreams versus limits, nurture versus independence. Be aware of feeling stuck, stretched thin, or emotionally overwhelmed by responsibilities. Protect your peace by setting clear boundaries and pacing your growth; the lemonade is in building something real, lasting, and soul-nourishing by balancing heart and hustle.

🌫️ June 18 ~ Jupiter in Cancer Square Neptune in Aries (INFLUENCING THROUGH EARLY JULY)

Also strong from mid-May to early July with the most intensity around June 15, this dreamy square can blur boundaries, inflate expectations, and make it hard to see what’s real—especially around emotions, finances, or purpose. Protect your clarity by fact-checking, avoiding escapism, and giving yourself permission to delay big decisions until the fog lifts. The gift here is in using your imagination and faith to expand your vision—just keep one foot on the ground while you reach for the stars.

🌊 July 19 ~ Sun in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries
This tender aspect can stir old emotional wounds around safety, identity, or feeling like you're "enough." You may feel torn between nurturing your inner world (Cancer) and asserting your independence (Aries), especially if past hurts resurface through family dynamics or personal insecurities. If something feels like it’s unraveling, it’s likely clearing space for authentic empowerment. Remember that you can experience the good vibes BEFORE and AFTER the dates listed as the web of influence extends beyond the day of exact connection. 

We have more than DOUBLE the sweet aspects compared to salty this month! I am going to outline all of them that include an outer planet as these tend to be most notable.

Also of important note is that most of the great aspects this month are with VENUS! So the theme of sweetness in love, relationships, money, finances, design, beauty, comfort and sustenance will pervade the whole month!!

ASPECT THAT COULD GO EITHER WAY:

There is one aspect to note this month that could bring mischief or glory, or both. The fact that for US friends that this is on our birthday and many will be out and about and gathering in crowds, please be extra careful and awareful. The element of suddenness could pose some danger, the likes of which in some cases could avoided by paying extra special attention to intuition, careful safeguarding, and paying attention to surroundings as the variables increase with the levels of ‘celebration’.
