March 2024 Astrology ~ UNLOCK YOUR FATE: March Eclipse (+ More)

Here are some top points to know about the March 2024 Astrology. See my March 2024 Horoscope Videos/Podcasts  for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

1. We have more than DOUBLE the sweet aspects compared to salty this month (again, we did last month, too!) I will go into some of my faves below and a few to watch out for. (These are at the end of the report). Again this month, we have some key aspects that can be sweet or salty, or both!

2. We are closing out 2024’s first period OPEN and FREE from personal planet retrogrades. January 21- March 20, 2024 we have a beautiful open window for taking important life steps, making big decisions, launches, planning, strategizing, commitments, and general clarity. Use it well as the latter part of 2024 will have Mars retro blocking out movement so these open windows before then carry more weight. 

We will also STILL HAVE ALL OUTER PLANETS GOING DIRECT UNTIL MAY 2, 2024! This period of time that started January 27 heralds a time of massive forward movement.

3. Transformation time! Eclipse season begins NOW! Continuing the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle that begun in early 2023 (and runs through early 2025) we have a Lunar Eclipse at 5° of Libra on March 25 and a Solar Eclipse at 19° Aries on April 8. 

Eclipse “season” revs up around 4-6 (sometimes more!) weeks BEFORE the first eclipse in the series and extends to 4-6 weeks (sometimes more) AFTER the last one. This eclipse cycle is shuffling around energies in the “Me/We” sectors. Individual and relationship empowerment glow as the highest expression of the potentials. 

Dramatic beginnings, endings, and tests in these arenas are more likely at this time. Each sign also have houses, or fields of experience, affected. I will talk about these in the March and April 2024 reports on Youtube and my syndicated podcast, Astro Kisses with Annie Botticelli.

Eclipses are linked to the ecliptic, just as the North and South Node are. The Nodes of the Moon are connected to our karma (for better and worse) and our dharma (our highest expression in this lifetime). Eclipse time tends to bring opportunities to unlock fate and escalate notable occurrences that feel tied to destiny.

4. WE STILL HAVE VERY STRONG AQUARIUS ENERGIES. It is unusual for such a long showing of multiple personal planets (PLUS PLUTO) in Aquarius. Community ties and projects, humanitarian efforts, internet-based connections and projects, futuristic and technological focus, plus exciting conversations with interesting people all mark some potentials for this month from these energies. Venus leaves the Aquarius party around March 12 and Mars goes until March 23. 

Pluto will pop back into Capricorn ONE MORE TIME from September 2024 into November 2024 and then be DONE for our lifetime. It will be hundreds of years before Pluto gets back into Cap again. Pluto stays in Aquarius until 2043.

Again this month we have many aspects with Uranus or planets in the sign of Aquarius, which rules the new, the weird, and the wonderful. Eclectic, eccentric, odd - this is a month where they all shine brightly!

5. Pisces is the strongest force from the perspective of the personal planets this month. The Sun will be in Pisces until March 21, Mercury until March 11, Venus from March 12 on, and Mars from March 23 on.

High emotion, adaptability, compassion, spirituality, and intuition reign supreme during Pisces transits. This can be an amazing time to connect with people, animals, nature, and spirit.

Kindness and empathy, given or received, are also hallmark themes of this time. Artistic endeavors also shine bright now.

Challenges that come up with strong Pisces energies include indecisiveness, escapism, and procrastination.

Since the personal planets are clear for major actions through March 20, I will hope for INSPIRED ACTION to help you best use the dreamy and mystical qualities of this time while also remembering that it will be a while again before the personal planets are clear and for a long time, whenever the personal planets are clear from retros, the outer planets won’t be giving the rare support of ALL being direct as they are in this window now!

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 1, 4, 6, 10, 21, 24, and 28.

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 3, 9, and 25.

Aspects that can manifest either way dates: 8, 17, 20, 21.

ASPECTS TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL & AWAREFUL:

There are just a couple clearly nuisance aspects this month and they are both squares. A square brings pressure, antagonism, and resistance. Sometimes the energy feels like it is all for nothing, and just something to get through, sometimes it will spark challenges that become the catalysts for desired and/or necessary change.

March 3 ~ Venus in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus ~

This aspect could greatly challenge stability. The upsets that come from this aspect tend to be the worst for a few days and then usually get worked out. Expect surprises in money and love. Occasionally this aspect manifests positively through windfall of romantic attention or financially but there is often something temporary or weird about it. This energy will be felt mostly strongly between around February 28 and March 7.

March 9 ~ Mars in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus ~ THIS ONE IS A DOOZY!

This is a very unpredictable (and could even be dangerous) combination.

Rebellion, sudden erratic decisions, burning major bridges, saying or doing something that could be regretted or release a karmic backlash, are common with this aspect. 

Risk-taking behavior may be compulsively expressed. Guard action these things for yourself but also remember others will be on edge and possibly operating heavy machinery! Take extra care when you are mobile.

Occasionally there is a plus-side potential to this in the form of technological or other brilliant breakthroughs. Squares often push us through something (usually very uncomfortably) but openness to change or determination to find a solution could yield a great result, just take care to not let reckless enthusiasm cloud judgment.

Plus the very intense March 25 ~ Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon at 5° of Libra

This one we have been feeling for months and the energies will intensify as we get closer to the actual transit.

Fullness, completion, fruition, drama, and manifestation around RELATIONSHIPS! Major breakthroughs, dramatic endings, exciting new beginnings, are all the hallmark energies of this time.

MY TOP FAVE ASPECTS OF MARCH 2024:

We have more sweet aspects than salty this month and some of them shine as my favorites of the bunch. Remember that you can experience the good vibes BEFORE and AFTER the dates listed as the web of influence extends beyond the day of exact connection.

All of the great aspects I am looking at for this month involve an angle called a sextile. I like to call this the ‘angle of opportunity’. I often refer to this as the ‘ingredients on a counter’ aspect since it reminds me of the potential that comes from a tasty batch of ingredients. On their own they could be delicious, but they could be even better if you DO something with them, like make a yummy pie! Sextiles are the same way. Nice things can roll in from them without any action but sometimes the way you get the manifestation is through action.

Three Great Aspects with Venus! 

Venus rules love and relationships, money and finances, self-esteem, appearance, and aesthetics.

All aspects are 60 degree angles, which are sweet angles of opportunities. Lovely things can roll in from these aspects and they glow brighter when you actively use the potentials.

March 1 ~ Venus in Aquarius Sextile Chiron in Aries ~

This aspect can bring harmony to relationships and innovative solutions for healing or appearance improvement. It can also bring profound self-discovery and self-esteem healing. 

Healing consciousness around money can also be involved. A financial settlement could come in from a situation where you were wronged.

March 24 ~ Venus in Pisces Sextile Jupiter in Taurus ~

This combination can bring enhanced sensitivity and compassion from you to others or you being on the receiving end. Intuitively driven action could also come from this aspect.

Harmonious social interactions, spiritual connections, and romantic or pleasurable experiences can also result.

March 28 ~ Venus in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus ~

This transit could bring in unconventional and exciting experiences or unexpected pleasures. Freedom of expression could be a highlight of this time.

Financially, it could bring a unique solution to a money issue or situation.

It can also bring openness to change, which could usher in refreshing experiences.

Two Wonderful Aspects with Mercury!

Mercury rules information and news, plus the act and outcomes of communication. It also rules mobility and movement.

March 4 ~ Mercury in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus ~

This transit can foster open-mindedness and the positive relational connections that can come from it. It is a great aspect for solving problems. Intuition is strong and creative genius is supercharged.

March 10 ~ Mercury in Pisces Sextile Pluto in Capricorn ~

This powerful combination can elicit strategic thinking and effective communication for the purpose of transformation. It can help spark breakthroughs! An extra deep wellspring of prodigal thinking is available now. Your visionary luminary within could be coaxed out at this time.

We also have at several this month that are not clearly positive or challenged! (See the dates above)

In these situations, your attitude, perspective, what you DO with the potentials, can spin their outcomes more to your favor.

Here are the ones of most note:

March 8 & 17 ~ Mercury and then the Sun in Pisces Conjunct Neptune ~

The time around these dates carry a whole lot of Neptunian energy! Neptune rules Pisces and all the planets connecting are in the sign that Neptune rules and are in aspect with Neptune itself! This connection could go either way so understanding the spectrum of Neptunian influence can assist in seeing the potentials.  On the challenged side, the energy of addiction, unproductive escapism, delusion, disillusionment, miscommunication, thievery and trickery are all possibilities. On the plus side, enhanced intuition and imagination, mystical epiphanies, celestial visions, soulful AHA moments, enchanting expression, and whimsical creations are all increased in possibility.

March 20 ~ Mercury in Aries Conjunct Chiron in Aries  ~

Let’s look at some negative potentials of this combo first ~

Reckless, over-direct, or destructive communication that opens old wounds, wreaks havoc within relationships, and opens up a can of worms that it may be hard to ever contain again.

But on the plus side it could instigate courageous communication, healing conversations, and profound self-discovery and understanding of the plight of another. It can spark initiative in mental or physical health and usher in regenerative renewal on all levels.
