CRITICAL ASTROLOGICAL TIMING of ILLNESS 

As product of my three decades of work within the mainstream and alternative medical communities, I have done much medical astrology over the decades. 

Astrological transits represent conscious and unconscious factors that effect our lives from the outside which tap into our inner starry map that makes up our wiring and instigate important experiences.

When transiting outer planets make challenged angles to planets or other critical points in our personal charts, unconscious layers of dis-ease can often bubble up. Whether the foundation is in a genetic miasm, a soul story, or some other kind of karmic potential, the clashing of outer planets that lock into our personal charts will often bring us face to face with a belief system or other karmic imprint that is outdated, needing attention, or in some other way ready to work with. The critical timing of illness is illustrated by its coinciding with the timing of the transits. 

These transits will bring things from deep in the psyche out to the surface and conscious awareness to be worked with.

This is so fascinating! This also means that you can often see BEFORE an issue makes it up to consciousness that it is going to need to be addressed which helps you prepare and can guide you along sorting out the lesson so you can get it resolved. Also, going through illness consciously can change the QUALITY of experience that one has.

We can also retrospectively go back to past injuries and illnesses to look at the astrology to gain additional insights for our present and future. Additionally, if someone we know is going through something, the astrology can help us understand it better so we can direct our support in more productive ways.

Looking at the planets, signs, and houses involved can give us many layers of understanding of the complex situation.

On a lighter level, a 12-month sun cycle places emphasis on all of our parts of our bodies that are ruled by each sign. Each sign rules areas of our physiology and anatomy and we can use the rulership of each zodiac sign and focus on that area of our body during each relevant sun transit to help prevent issues by being proactive.
