June 2023 Astrology ~ VIBRANCE, MOVEMENT, and WARM & FUZZY VIBES (and more … )

Here are some top points to know about the June 2023 Astrology. See my June 2023 Horoscope Videos/Podcasts  for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

1. Slightly more sweet aspects compared to salty ones. Harmonious bursts are present all throughout the month and there are many extra sweet connections (some of which I will go into later this in this report).

2. We are easing out of the heat of ECLIPSE SEASON. While we can always have movement along the situations that have been activated during the cycle of eclipses, the closer we get to the actual eclipses (April 20 and May 5), the more news, activity, stress, drama, and radical changes that the eclipses tend to bring. Four to six weeks before and after the eclipses happen is eclipse “season” and are now in the last leg of the intensity. The themes brought up by the April and May eclipses will still be front and center in June.

April 20 brought a Black Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries at 29° - The first of the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle that will go from now through most of 2025. This eclipse starts a BRAND NEW CYCLE OF MAJOR INITIATION and major focus on Me vs. We. Themes will begin now that can put us on a path to greater empowerment, independence, zesty self-expression, bold leadership, vibrant wellness, deepened self-esteem, and bountiful fresh options for new experiences.

In May is the Lunar Eclipse at 14° in Scorpio on May 5. The Taurus/Scorpio eclipse polarity which is also a Me vs. We polarity and also includes My Stuff vs. Our Stuff (material, karmic, emotional, financial, etc.) This eclipse cycle goes through the end of 2023. The last times we had Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycles were late 2012 through late 2014 and late 2002 through early 2005. Reflection upon themes that were occurring in your life then may give some insight into the cycle occurring now.

Fullness, completion, accomplishment, and/or drama comes to a shared financial situation or complex relationship (like family or business).

3. Direct Personal Planets - From June 1-19, we have the last open period free from personal planet retrogrades and their shadow periods for a while. On June 19, the pre-transit shadow period before Venus retrograde begins. Venus rules love, romance, relationships, money, finances, self-esteem, beauty, design, and more. Make good use of the forward moving energy of this open window before the focus on inward and backward/things from the past, starts to creep in.

This open period between June 1-19 is great for big decisions, gatherings and other plans (basically anything you have to schedule could have an easier flow at this time), engagements, weddings, big purchases or sales, moves, and anything else that you want forward flow to be a part of the imprint for a long time to come.

4. Strong Gemini energies from the Sun and Mercury transits. The extra focus on Gemini, brings MOVEMENT. The travel bug may start to bite big-time! Desire for movement and new and interesting experiences is more likely. Social connections and general busy-ness - driving around all over the place doing lots of things - are all more common with Gemini transits. Scatteredness and interest in diverse ranges of things (I like to call “getting your fingers in a lot of pudding pies”) is also common at this time. Guard your nervous system and respiratory systems even more at this time. 

5. Strong Cancer energies from the Sun, Venus, and Mercury bring focus on emotions, home, family, and housing. Water transits like this bring attention to everything “warm and fuzzy”. Matters of the heart and emotional connections come front and center. Imagine comfy surroundings with a yummy hot drink with someone you love. Cancer transits can bring harmony, blessings, and financial topics to home and family discussions. 

Suppressed and repressed emotions, family issues, genetic or ancestral topics may abound now. It can also be a great time to clear up unfinished business around the house, repairs, etc. The travel energy from Gemini combined with these Cancer vibrations can bring travel back “home”, or to somewhere that feels like home, or bring family traveling to you.

6. Strong Leo energies from both Venus & Mars transits brings zesty creative expression, focus on hobbies and in general, FUN, romance, children, leadership and taking center stage with whatever awesomeness you are bringing.

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 2, 9, 10, 11, 17, 19, 21, 22, 28, 29, and 29-30.

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 1, 5, 11, 13, 15, 18, 21, 25, and 26.

Notable neutral aspects that could go either way or both (sweet and/or salty): 4 and 30.

June 2 - June 19 — Open window free from personal planet retrogrades and their shadow periods! —

We will be diving into the long Venus retrograde cycle on June 19th when the pre-transit shadow period begins. This open window is a short but powerful opportunity to have extra oomph and clarity for important present and future planning and decisions. Big decisions made now will hold this favorable forward moving energy for a long time to come.

June 2 — Venus in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces —

Matters of the heart get a great boost right now. Profound emotional, mental, spiritual, or physical healing could come from this sweet combination. Artistic expression and private endeavors (either solo or with others close to you) have extra special blessings now. Intuition is expanded increasing the chance for sudden solutions that come from dreamtime or synchronicity.

June 11 — Mercury in Taurus Trine Pluto in Capricorn —

Logic or hard work win the day at this time. Grounded, practical endeavors can receive a major boost of support from people or organizations that have the means to help. Powerful forces are at play working for you, or maybe you are the helper, using your resources to make someones dream come alive or joining in partnerships with great synergistic outcomes. This transit could also bring good money or partnerships news of any kind.

June 19 — Jupiter in Taurus Sextile Saturn in Pisces — 

Put a gold star in your calendar for the weeks around this transit! When outer planets come together, the influence is more profound and lasts longer than transits involving one or more of inner planets (the ones closer to us). This super favorable connection combines the awesome expansive tendencies of Jupiter and the long-term security potential of Saturn. The Taurus energies bring an eye towards determination and hard work, while the Pisces energies offer emotional fulfillment and intuitive or otherworldly assistance. This is a rare transit to be celebrated for its infinite potentials for bridging the seen and unseen worlds and our grounded 3D experience with the 4th dimensional heart field.

June 22 — Mars in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries —

Bold expression of transparent vulnerabilities can bring major benefits now. Making a choice to bravely reveal a soft spot can show you who your real friends are and free you from the shackles of fear. Something that used to bother you deeply could shift now into radical acceptance opening your heart and raising your self-esteem. You are not your wounds unless you align your power with that focus.

June 29 — TWO TRINES TODAY! — Venus in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries and Mercury in Cancer Trine Saturn in Pisces —

The Venus/Chiron connection can be an extension of the wonderful Mars/Chiron connection on 6/22. Having made the effort at that time could be bringing great rewards already by this time. This transit can bring great healing in love or financial consciousness or bring a windfall of money or support from your choice to choose an empowered path.

The Mercury/Saturn connection can bring great news in any area of life and carries similar energy to those on June 2, 11, and 19 where the combination of Earth and Water binds intellect and spirit in wonderful ways.

Top Aspects to Be Extra Careful & Awareful:

June 5 — Venus in Leo Opposing Pluto in Aquarius — A clash in money or love may come now with great intensity. Your personal expression may feel infringed upon by others opinions or expectations. Power struggles could show up in a big way. The intensity will likely pass quickly. Big choices may best be tabled until the energies smooth over but if there is a situation of safety, seeking temporary asylum may be necessary. Alternatively, there is a chance that this transit could align you into a powerful partnership or cast you into working deeply on a project with someone else, combining your resources in magical ways.

June 11 — Venus in Leo Square Jupiter in Taurus — 

The big caution here is overextending yourself energetically (which could predispose to illness), emotionally (which could predispose to resentment), physically (which could predispose to injury), or financially (which could bring stress and extended burden of repayment). There is also a sweet transit at this time (see above listing in “My Fave Transits”) so it is possible that some news could come in that makes you so happy you overextend. Sometimes high dopamine rushes can bring a detriment to discernment.

June 26 — Mars in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus —

Sudden information or action could zap your vitality. An expense could come in that takes from your “FUN” budget. A power struggle could come from someone acting erratically. If you can hide under a rock, do that, but make sure the rock isn’t near water and a loose electric wire because even avoidance can be thwarted suddenly by sneaky means. Cardiovascular issues may come to light now. Electrolyte/mineral imbalance is extra important now and making this a life habit can bring a positive outcome to this transit.

Notable Neutral Aspects which Could Go Either Way:

June 5 —  Mercury and Uranus Conjunct in Taurus —

Always expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved. Surprising news, for better or worse, is more likely now. Be extra careful with electric wiring and devices. The Taurus involvement increases the odds of a sudden expense or windfall of money or resources.

Prepare to go inward and backward into challenges and joys from the past as they relate to love, romance, finances, income, self-esteem, physical appearance, and more. Venus pre-transit shadow period begins June 19 and stretches to July 23 when it officially shifts into retrograde, staying retrograde until September 4, with the post-transit shadow period lasting until October 6, 2023.
