February 2023 ~ UNTETHERED, FREE, OPEN, NEW!

Here are some top points to know about the February 2023 Astrology. See my February 2023 Horoscope Videos/Podcasts  for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

1. Another month of more sweet aspects compared to salty ones. Harmonious bursts are present all throughout the month and there are many extra sweet connections (many of which I will go into later this in this report).

2. We are still out of heat of eclipse season! While we can always have movement along the situations that have been activated during the time of the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipse cycle, for this month, we are out of the heat of the most activity, stress, drama, and changes that the eclipse tend to bring. In April we continue that eclipse polarity PLUS add in a new set of polarities starting with an eclipse in April, but for now, we are still in the peace and integration of the ‘tween time.

3. FIRST and LONGEST OPEN WINDOW OF 2023. All planets (including the outer ones) are moving DIRECT! While we are still in the shadow of Mars post-retrograde phase, that energy becomes more diluted every day throughout February. The energies are more directed towards the future and in a forward motion than they have been for a long time. This open window that lasts through around April 7 is perfect for blazing forward, far and wide, at record speed. It holds great promise for mega-launches, big decisions, agreements, moves, exciting work changes, and anything else that has been pending but was slowed down from the long run of retrograde energies.

4. Capricorn energies linger through around February 11. Amidst the flurry of other energies this month, there is still some great grounded earth energy to help pull through tedious tasks and wrap up unfinished business.

5. Strong Aquarius energies continue throughout the month. Social connections and finding your happy place within communities or groups both light up beautifully at this time. Networking can be especially key to your success and joy right now and opportunities will abound. You and your expression could go far and wide now with the help of technology and internet-based efforts. Working out social anxieties can help you to say YES to glorious possibilities of connecting with others in ways that make you feel like you are part of something bigger.

6. Venus and then the Sun in Pisces bring a trend of internal processes and benefits from retreats and taking some personal time. Pisces energies are fantastic for artistic creations, spiritual or psychological work, diving deep into the mysteries of the connectedness of all things. It is also awesome for fulfilling emotional connections with others or communing deeply with nature or in prayer or meditation.

7. Aries energy already strong and present from Jupiters’ transit gets an additional boost when Venus enters Aries later in the month. Many a impulsive or spontaneous decision will be made as the Aries energies will be rumping and bumping around, ready for action and to cut loose of heaviness and restriction. This energy is fantastic for launches or anything that you want to go far and wide and with all the planets moving forward, this addition of extra Aries energy will fully support mega-blasting into the stratosphere. The sky is not even the limit with the potentials available now for positive change and forward motion.

8. Mars in Gemini for a very extended period of time (yes, STILL) continue to bring restlessness and a focus on communication (including great energy for writing), and lots of extra driving or other type of commuting. Expect to continue to be busier than usual with back-to-back plans that usually require transport and/or much communication.

The Gemini energies can also bring vacillation or uncertainty, a prolonged feeling of having to decide between options or waiting for some news whose outcomes could set you on two completely different trajectories. Distraction may also abound. Doing short spurts of action steps may carry you further than trying to sit in one place for too long without a break. This energy won’t shift into Cancer until the end of March but at least since Mars is now direct, you may have more clarity about how to direct your energies. You may find that if you can’t choose between two options, that doing both may be your best answer.

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 1, 5, 6, 7-8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 22.

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 16, and 21.

February 1 then February 11 —  Sun then Mars Sextile Chiron in Aries 

Both of these sweet aspects can bring a positive boost in self-esteem. The Sun with Chiron can help you start to see strength in a trait that you formerly felt was a weakness, Mars connecting with Chiron can expand your mobility, or help you put words to your healing journey in a way that also supports others and gives you great fulfillment.

February 7-8  — Venus in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus —  I love this time for sweet moments of peace and creative expression, retreat, profound connections with others, deep meditation, quiet personal reflection, expanded dream experiences, like lucid dreaming, healing work, and anything else that brings spiritual focus, love, forgiveness, compassion, unity consciousness, or connection with the unseen realms. I particularly love when there are beautiful aspects like this that combine water and earth as they help us to use our intuition in ways that can support our material experience or in any way bring spiritual viewpoints or practice to our daily/mundane experiences.

February 17 — Mercury in Aquarius Sextile Jupiter in Aries —

I love this time for doing important things. This aspect can help carry your efforts much further and lock in enthusiasm through your journey reaching your goal. Networking can be a huge key to your success right now. It may be time to say YES to someone that wants to introduce you to someone else. This aspect can also bring in great news and wonderful experiences. It is a time ripe with awesome possibilities.

February 3 — Sun in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus —

Uranus plus the Sun in Aquarius in a challenged angle can bring an unpleasant jolt, such as an uncomfortable social situation or an annoying problem online or with a device. There are countless way this combination can wreck some mischief but some main things to know are to stay extra safe around electric and try to keep as present as possible. Sometimes issues can be averted with awareness.

February 21 — Mercury in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus —

Shocking or disruptive news often comes in with this transit. Expect the unexpected. Extra awareness while driving, walking, biking, or moving in any way can be protective. This combination adds some extra chaos so whatever you can do to navigate safely is a good idea.

Notable Neutral Aspects which Could Go Either Way:

February 5 — Full Moon at 16° of Leo —  Fullness, completion, fruition, drama, excitement comes to all thing Leo ~ children, creative babies, romance, leadership, fashion, athleticism, theatre, or anything else that puts you or creations out in the center stage. Sometimes full moons bring amazing accomplishments or wonderful and memorable experiences, other times they bring the elucidation of an issue or something comes to a head in a dramatic way. February 10 — Mercury and Pluto Conjunct in Capricorn —  

Transformational news and events tend to abound with this aspect. You may receive correspondence that speaks of birth, death, transformation, or major new beginnings or endings. While the combination can bring dramatic exchanges, like someone using their power in ways that brings frustration or feelings of helplessness, it can also bring very positive exchanges, like financial or other support coming in for your important project (or you find a way to invest resources or help others in ways that bring synergy).

February 15 — Venus and Neptune Conjunct in Pisces —

This aspect can bring confusion, disillusionment, or dishonesty, especially in love or money. The plus side manifestation potential could bring amazing synchronicities, lining perfect things up in magical ways.

February 16  —  Sun and Saturn Conjunct in Aquarius —

This neutral transit could manifest either way - very positive or stressful and challenged. Saturn, the task master, could dim your light through some stern or disapproving person. The plus side potential can bring approval from someone who is usually not very forthcoming with positive feedback or some kind of material advancement. I like this time for doing something important that you want to be in place for a while or taking some kind of step that puts you well on your way to the fruition of major goals.

February 19 — Venus in Pisces Sextile Pluto in Capricorn —

This whopper of a connection can bring glorious transformation in money, love, self-acceptance, and major empowerment. But… the potential is there for very challenging, even dangerous outcomes, too. Jealousy, power struggles, and aggression can all surface with this connection. Staying strongly connected to both intuition and logic can be protective. If someone is already on edge, it may not be a good time to bring up a dicey subject.

February 19-20 — New Moon at 1° of Pisces —

New beginnings abound during this time. Advancement and enhancement of spiritual practices, intuition, deep inner work, self-care practices, artistic expression, connection to angelic guides like dear ones that have transitioned into the eternal realms, are all supercharged at this time.
