March 2023 ~ A NEW ERA with TWO OUTER PLANET SIGN CHANGES + FRENZIED FORWARD MOVEMENT!

Here are some top points to know about the March 2023 Astrology. See my March 2023 Horoscope Videos/Podcasts  for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

1. Another month of more sweet aspects compared to salty ones. Harmonious bursts are present all throughout the month and there are many extra sweet connections (some of which I will go into later this in this report). There is an abundance of neutral aspects which could go either way. Staying positive and looking for good can help to tilt some of those potentials on to the positive side.

2. We are back in the heat of eclipse season! While we can always have movement along the situations that have been activated during the time of the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipse cycle, for this month, the closer we get to the next set of eclipses (April 20 and May 5), the more news, activity, stress, drama, and changes that the eclipses tend to bring. Four to six weeks BEFORE the eclipses start, begins eclipse “season”. We continue the Taurus/Scorpio eclipse polarity PLUS add in a new set of polarities starting with an eclipse in Aries in April, the themes of which can start showing up now. Both Taurus/Scorpio and the new eclipse polarity, Aries/Libra, is about the Me vs. We spectrum. Topics such as independence, codependence, interdependence, and collaboration will be very hot over the next few months with a pattern running through the next couple of years!

3. FIRST and LONGEST OPEN WINDOW OF 2023 that is free from personal AND outer planet retrogrades! All planets (including the outer ones) are moving DIRECT! While we are at the tail end of the shadow of Mars post-retrograde phase, that energy disappears as March progresses and with all the personal AND outer planets moving DIRECT, the energies are more directed towards the future and in a forward motion than they have been for a long time or will be for a long time after. Things that were held up for months or even years, can launch forward very quickly. This open window that lasts through around April 7 is perfect for blazing forward, far and wide, at record speed. It holds great promise for mega-launches, big decisions, agreements, moves, exciting work changes, and anything else that has been pending but was slowed down from the long run of retrograde energies. We do have a lot of retro energy later in the year, including another round of Venus retro, so make the most of this outward and forward energy which is rare for 2023 since much of it will be covered in the inward and backward energies as we get into April and beyond.

4. Pisces energies are strong all month with the Sun and Mercury flowing through this sign. Dreamy creative energies abound at this time. The soft, emotional frequencies lend themselves beautifully to quiet reflection in between all of the busy and forward moving energies brought by other placements. Finding quiet balance of be-ing between all the do-ing, can bring great peace and tranquility. Even taking a few minutes a day to rest can bring in clarity about how to use the active energies of this time.

5. Strong Aries energies dominate this month, with the Sun, Mercury, Venus AND Jupiter flowing through this sign. The desire and even need to get up and go will be strong. Action will be the dominant force and can even spill over into aggression for yourself or others. These energies are rowdy and can be very fun. Overdoing will be easy. This is an amazing time for new beginnings or to breath new life into things that had gone stale over the last months or even years.

6. Mars finally change signs! Mars has been in distracted and spiraling Gemini since AUGUST of 2022! After seven months of confusion, vacillation, scatteredness, indecision, heightened mobility/travel, taking in and putting out of ideas and information, the zesty ruler of Aries will move into Cancer, a place where it is quite uncomfortable. Efforts may transition to home, family, relationships and your inner world. There may be some awkwardness as the fiery ruler of Aries tries to navigate through the unfamiliar waters of emotion but it can be an unprecedented time of spiritual growth and clearing up of matters in your immediate surroundings. Traveling to places where you lived before, that feel like home, or that you are considering for a future home, could be very well indicated.

7. Saturn is changing signs for the first time since 2020. Saturn will be in Pisces from 2023 - 2026. Saturn is the stern disciplinarian, the bringing of tests which build strength, especially of foundations.Wherever Saturn goes, it brings a critical eye with the intention to look for weak spots that need to be shored up. In Pisces, it will insist on attention to the emotional world and our mental state. So much of our human systems are set up to spiral us into distraction, intensifying anxiety, and creating the perpetual hamster wheel spin in the mind and emotions. Saturn in this placement can be tough, like it is anywhere else, but it could feel heavier because it wants us to do the hardest thing - confront our fears and addictions and heal them, build structures in our mental and emotional space, through things like daily meditation and emotional processing exercises, and requires that we own the inner muck and become the alchemist, transforming this heaviness to gold. It is time to mine the diamonds that our mind and hearts hold by adding the discipline to these often ignored or suppressed spaces that they need to shine their brightest. Those who have struggled with depression or other mood imbalances with some work and diligence may discover resources that can turn around their lives. Genetic testing through qualified practitioners and lifestyle plans based on these genetic discoveries have the possibility of creating miracle outcomes.

8. Pluto changes signs! Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008! Pluto will dance back and forth in the late degrees of Capricorn and early degrees of Aquarius from now until the end of 2024 when it will make its final move into Aquarius and stay until 2044! Pluto came into Capricorn with a bang as the financial market systems collapsed and the years since, especially recent years, has showed much attention to the broken structures at the center of our experience. There will be unimaginable technological advancement during this transit, as Aquarius rules tech and innovation. Aquarius-ruled Astrology will also see an expanding prominence (a trend that has been escalating in the years leading up to the Aquarius switch). The Age of Aquarius, with its many potential manifestations, is upon us.

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 1-2, 17, 18, 20, 21, 27-28, and 30..

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 14, 16, 17, and 25.

Notable neutral aspects that could go either way or both (sweet and/or salty): 3, 7, 11-12, 15, 16, 26, and 30.

March 27-28 — Mercury and Jupiter Conjunct in Aries —

More awesome, rambunctious, powerful forward moving energy with this aspect (like the connection with Jupiter and Venus early in the month). I LOVE this time for big launches or any important steps that you want expanded and supported. Major news could come in now!

March 30 — Mars in Cancer Trine Saturn in Pisces —

Both Mars and Saturn change signs this month and they hit the early degrees of water at the same time making an amazing aspect that will echo out major possibilities. Activation of harmony, positive change, spiritual understandings, emotional connections, are just a few of the beautiful potentials at this time. I love this time for cozying up with a loved one, being out connecting with nature, actively communing with Spirit, or artistic or healing endeavors. Home and family could feature in a major way.

Top Aspects to Be Extra Careful & Awareful:

March 14 — Mars in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces —

Deception, theft, and security issues are some negative ways this energy can manifest. Uncertainty or vacillation on an important topic is another way this can come up. You may be feeling something way different than someone is saying. Trust your intuition. Even if it is as not as bad as you fear, there is likely something to what you are concerned about.

March 25 — Mars in Cancer Inconjunct Pluto in Aquarius —

Both of these planets change signs this month moving right into a direct conflict with each other. Power struggles, misunderstandings, feeling of victimhood or helplessness are some ways the clash could come up. Difficult connections with these two planets can sometimes even bring danger. Be on high alert to stay safe and during these times it may be better to not awaken a sleeping dragon. If someone is obviously on edge, avoid antagonization and if it is you on edge, consider some healthy ways to let off steam.

Notable Neutral Aspects which Could Go Either Way:

March 7 — Full Moon at 16º of Virgo — Fullness, completion, fruition or drama comes to your office or work, pets or other animals, or health. March 11-12 —  OUTER PLANET CONNECTION — Jupiter and Chiron Conjunct in Aries — These two planets come together around every 12 years but in the sign of Aries, it is much more rare. Independence, physical healing, recognition, karmic wound healing, are all potentials of the connection. Jupiter expands and Chiron cuts straight to the heart of our deepest vulnerability. If your Chronic wound is not obvious to you, it may reveal itself now, if you have been working with healing this wound, then you may have major evolution along that front. Any physical pain would be good to get checked out medically and simultaneously to confront subconscious emotions that want to be heard at this time as they bubble out from a deep, dark, place. This can be a time of MAJOR EMPOWERMENT, where you take your life back from something that had been weighing you down, either an internal force or something external, or both.

March 30 — Venus and Uranus Conjunct in Taurus —

The planet of surprises and jolts connects with the planet of love, beauty, comfort, and money. This can bring surprise fortune, or sudden expenses, love or romance could come in out of the blue, or upsets within relationships can zap into center stage. Be prepared for surprises, either way, it is a time when change can come suddenly and strike right at the core of stability and comfort.
