July 2022 Astrology ~ 5 AWESOME TRINES (and One Hide Under a Rock Aspect) + LAST “OPEN” WINDOW OF 2022 continues ...

 

Here are some top points to know about July 2022 Astrology and some possible effects. See my July 2022 Horoscope videos/podcasts for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

 

1. An abundance of planetary connections this month, more than there has been with more salty aspects compared to sweet ones but still plenty of sweetness with at least 11 beautiful connections.

 

2. Finally out of the heat of eclipse season. July and August are a rest between the cycles.

 

September - December  back into the season with October and November being most intense. October and November are also when we have the last square of Saturn & Uranus. See my video on the topic to better understand this.

 

3. The tides are flowing out!! We have our last period of time free from personal planet retrogrades for the whole year.

 

This window is open from around June 19 - August 21. Mercury retrograde pre transit shadow period starts around August 21 and around Sept 4, Mars pre transit shadow period also begins and will be in effect for the rest of 2022 and through almost the whole first quarter of 2023.

 

This open period has great energy for big decisions, launches, contracts, moves, investments, big events, and anything that you want to flow as smoothly as possible and/or last a long time.

 

The month starts out with a very stressful aspect but  the mood definitely starts to lighten quickly. There are a lot of inconjunct aspects this month, which tend to bring awkwardness and failed attempts at conveying or hearing information or reading a situation. Although there may be many bumps like this during July, they are likely to pass quickly. Try not to overanalyze too much of what seems to be happening as that could create a spiral that is unnecessary and not helpful. Practice being the observer as these occurrences transpire and choose to respond instead of react, and only respond if necessary.

 

Two beautiful Jupiter trines in Fire signs light up this month with creative zest, optimism, breakthrough solutions, and wonderful experiences. Imagine running towards your happiest destiny while people are throwing potatoes at you, a bit stressful to get the goodies but your clear positive outcomes are within reach so it is easier to summon your gumption to run through the risks to get to your goal. Another fire trine with Chiron support your profound healing and emergence into the space of teacher or helper of others with the things you have figured out from your previous challenges.

 

4. Strong Cancer energies dominate the month. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus will all have representation in Cancer in July bringing a strong focus on our inner worlds/the emotional realms, interpersonal connections, home, family, housing, home-based businesses, maternal topics. Look out for water where it shouldn’t be, literally (like weather and other water-related issues) and figuratively through the expression of high emotion.

 

5. Venus and Mercury still spending some time in Gemini brings vacillation, indecision, extra busy-ness, prolific expression, and tons of opportunities for social connections.

 

6. The last third of the month has a change in mood out of the emotional web of Cancer and into Leo. Creativity fires up in epic ways and still being in the open window before Mars and Mercury start their retrograde shenanigans towards the end of August, now is a great time to take action on ideas you have. This is a month, especially in the last 10 or so days of July, where following your bliss into wonderful outcomes has mega-support. Passion projects will have extra zest and people may come out of the woodwork to support bringing your vision to life. This end of July period is a time to get into the drivers seat of your life and direct your vehicle to your highest destiny!

July 1 — Mars in Aries Square Pluto in Capricorn -- You may feel very driven today, or find yourself exerting an extreme degree of effort. You can use this to create greater order in your life, or to set necessary boundaries, but you could also get yourself into trouble. This would definitely be a time to guard against any temptation to act rashly, or try to take too much.  If something needs modification, you may not need to dispense with the entire structure. The ugliness in people can come out very strongly at this time. Anger and ego battles can abound. It would be wise not to antagonize someone already obviously on edge and be aware that someone ready to snap might not show outer signs of it. It is a time to tread lightly and use the energy to work out inner battles in productive ways and only work on an outer battle if it comes to you and is unavoidable. If there were ever some days to hide under a rock, it would be the days around this transit.

 

July 2-- Mercury in Gemini Trine Saturn in Aquarius - Mercury in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces -- The trine makes this an excellent time for getting some long avoided work done, otherwise tedious work is not likely to feel that way, and it will be relatively easy for you to maintain concentration. At the same time, it may be easier to misinterpret things due to the square.  Thankfully, the former serves as a natural remedy.  Use this concentration and comprehension boost to pay close attention to the details to avoid misinterpretations and misunderstandings.

 

July 3 -- Mercury in Gemini Inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn -- Awkwardness in communication could occur now or some unsettling news may come in. Information that may make you confront a fear may come up. You may be a witness of or a participant in a power struggle that effects you. The odds of being misunderstood are high now. If there is an important thing you need to bring up, tune in carefully first. Some better energy will be available starting soon, you just have to wait for the pocket of flow and ride it.

 

July 4 -5 -- Mercury in Cancer Sextile Mars in Taurus -- Sharp intellect aligning with positive emotions may coincide around this time, bringing authenticity and coherence to your expressions. This can make you very persuasive, and effective at getting ideas across. This energy may be much better than the previous several days for bringing up that important discussion, announcing or making plans, or doing anything of major consequence.

 

July 6 -- Venus in Gemini Sextile Chiron in Aries -- This transit could bring some very useful information to your attention. Something along the lines of a simple remedy, to an effective strategy. The result of implementing whatever you are given is likely to have a very calming, balancing, and healing effect on the mind and body. Great healing could occur. Someone may hear you on a deep level which could create a cascade of healing and positive connections.

 

July 8 - 9 -- Sun in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries - Mercury in Cancer Square Jupiter in Aries --  While this time may not be a walk in the park, it may highlight a few points of weakness or vulnerability, and it could prompt some important discussions that are near to the hearts of all involved. If you are the initiator of the discussion, try to have your stance and approach well thought out beforehand, and remove any unnecessary angst before your presentation. Issues could easily get blown out of proportion through unresolved emotional tension, or exaggeration.  It may be helpful to write out all the raw things you would want to say to someone BEFORE you talk to them rather than unloading a bunch of unfiltered pent up feelings to them.

 

July 10 -- Sun in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus -- This transits marks an ideal time for introducing new ways of bringing about positive change. The result is likely to be an increase in emotional stability and esthetic pleasure. A surprise or sudden insight may come in that helps you to see things more clearly and feel better about the bigger picture of what is happening or get a plan together for positive change.

 

July 12 - 13 -- Mercury in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries - Venus in Gemini Trine Saturn in Aquarius --  It is likely that a persistent thought pattern is playing a part in the perpetuation of something that is depleting your sense of vitality.  You might have a chance to see it in motion today if you're watching closely.  Once you pin it down, this will become an excellent opportunity to redefine the responsibilities and boundaries of all involved.

Even though the bump with Mercury and Chiron could bring some conflict or high emotion, the trine is one of the best aspects of the whole year! Good news in money, love, or inner certainty can come to pass. The other aspect suggests there either may be some resistance to the good things coming in, either in yourself or those around you, like you are thinking or someone is saying, “This is too good to be true!”, but there is a good chance that the opportunities presenting are for real. Trust your gut.

 

July 13 -- Full Moon at 21° of Capricorn - This is an ultra powerful Supermoon (when the Moon is exceptionally close to the Earth and its gravitational effects are extra strong). Although Capricorn moons can tend to bring an easier time being objective over emotional, the increase in the pull on the water of the Earth (including us!) will bring high emotions. Topics of discipline, responsibility, structure, work, business, employment, or authority figures may come up strongly. Watch out for water where it shouldn’t be. If you are in an area where this tends to be an issue, take extra precautions before this time.

 

July 13 — Mercury in Cancer Sextile Uranus in Taurus — Sweet surprises, random showings of affection, emotional or material support are all more likely to spring in at this time.

 

July 14 -- Venus in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces -- The rational mind may be overruled by unrealistic, perhaps romantic, perceptions of reality. Fantasy is a beautiful thing, but it must be interwoven with reality reasonably, and never take its place. So long as the potentials of this transit are channelled responsibly, any creative or artistic endeavor will thrive. Deception could be at play. If you are unsure about something, get more information before acting if possible. Guard your security on all levels.

 

July 15 -- Venus in Gemini Inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn -- Some awkwardness in relationships or finance may come up now. Attempts to do something might not be working out or communications might feel like they are not being received.

 

July 16 -- Sun Conjunct Mercury in Cancer both Inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius -- You are likely to communicate from a place of great emotional authority on this day, articulating matters of great importance with great conviction and strength. This could become overwhelming for the listener, but you will certainly get the message across. Confusing information could come in. You may need time to process before responding.

July 17 -- Mercury in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces - Sun in Cancer Trine Neptune in Pisces --  This is a great couple of transits for accessing inspiration, and using it creatively.  Your imagination can be accentuated, and your ability to follow your feelings and intuition will be heightened. If you would like to accelerate and amplify your connection to the world of limitless potential, spend some time in solitude, especially near water, for quiet reflection, or deep meditation.

 

July 18 -- Mercury in Cancer Opposing Pluto in Capricorn --  You have accelerated powers of comprehension under this influence, and it will give you a notable ability to influence the world through your words. Especially when tactfully unpacking layers of emotion, conveying your motivations to those who would fully support you if they could but glimpse your intentions, and feel them for themselves for a moment. Alternatively or additionally, someone in your family or a power position in your life may have grievances with you, or you with them.

 

July 19 -- Chiron Retrograde begins -- As the Wounded Healer begins to backtrack, you can expect pain from old wounds to resurface.  This doesn't necessarily mean that these old issues will plague you once again.  Only that you will have a chance to reflect upon them with greater perspective, and hopefully do some inner work to integrate the difficult emotions that surround them into your conscious body, and facilitate greater healing.

 

July 23 -- Mercury in Leo Trine Jupiter in Aries -- This transit is all about positive thinking, and the miracles it can work for you. Simply by believing something is possible, you are given the means to imagine it, and simply by imagining it, you are given the means to manifest it.  Not solely through some magical process, but through unconventional ways of thinking that are only available to you through the power of belief. If you have clarity about your direction, I love this time for taking action on something important. This can be a time when great news comes in and it could be epic for creativity.

 

July 24 - 25 -- Venus in Cancer Square Jupiter in Aries -- The desire for sensory and emotional indulgences is amplified under this transit. Just be sure to guard against any reckless or excessive behavior that could result in needless accidents or deficits. This is a transit of overdoing, but if this is done with awareness and keeping of a safe limit, it can be very fun and rewarding.  The tendency to overspend will be high.

July 26 -- Mercury in Leo Square Mars in Taurus --  If overindulgent behavior or impulsive thinking has been allowed to rule your actions for the past few days, this is when the consequences are likely to start to make themselves known. You could find yourself in heated arguments, you may be the recipient of harsh criticism aimed at correcting the imbalances at play, or you could be facing something like the financial cost of previous carelessness. Alternatively, in the absence of irresponsible behavior, this transit can allow you to refine your ability to actually increase focus in the presence of otherwise derailing temptations. Someone could be nitpicking your creative efforts. If you are sure there is nothing to what they are saying, ignore them, but be raw with yourself if there is any truth or lesson as clues to the practical advancement of your creative project could have an important key in being brave enough to look into relevance of the criticism.

July 27 -- Mercury in Leo Trine Chiron in Aries -- As you share the lessons you have learned along your healing journey, this transit gives volume and clarity to your voice, and magnetism to your presence.  The communication of what Chiron has taught you over the years will then become a two-way street, and you will come to more thoroughly understand these lessons yourself. You will learn how to heal as you teach how to heal.

This transit could bring spontaneous healing or an insight into a puzzle that had been plaguing you.

July 28 -- Jupiter Retrograde Begins - Mercury in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus - New Moon at 5° Leo -- As Jupiter appears to move in reverse, it facilitates expansion through introspection, rather than direct action. It is fine to follow the flow if something is working out for you, but if it isn’t, just know that Jupiter is moving its work to the backdrop and his blessings and support may seem less apparent. For the 4 ish months (through November 23) that Jupiter is retrograde, it may be time to do the inner work or behind-the-scenes work of a grand project. The fruits of your labors will start to be more evident towards the end of 2022 and into 2023.

With the Mercury/Uranus square, you might find it easy to express unusual or eccentric ideas, but may also have a difficult time understanding more basic ones. This could result in unexpected breakdowns of communication. Unwelcome jolts of news or events could zap in like a sudden lightning bolt.

The New Moon in Leo is all about imagining creative potentials. Ways that life could become more exciting, fun, and grand. Any annoying things that happen now can serve to better direct your creative efforts towards what yo truly want.

July 31 -- Mercury in Leo Opposing Saturn in Aquarius - Venus in Cancer Square Chiron in Aries - Sun in Leo trine Jupiter in Aries -- The opposition inspires serious and realistic thinking surrounding the balance between personal desire, and collective need. Practicality is a necessary thing, but it can also produce narrow thinking if not infused with inspiration, intuition, and creativity.  The square could highlight any areas of low self-esteem or deep insecurity that have not yet been resolved, but on the positive side, the trine is likely to bring waves of great joy, enthusiasm, and confidence.  This could be a very clarifying time for you, in which bouts of doubt are met with beams of reassurance.

The Sun and Jupiter Trine is a true blessing that can bring ease and grace to any challenges brought by the nuisance aspects at this time. It is the second of 2 aspects this month that are on my list of top favorites for the year.
