February 2022 Astrology ~ LAUNCH PERIOD OPENING & FINALLY! a SWEET Outer Planet Connection ~ Jupiter Sextile Uranus

 

Here are some top points to know about February 2022 Astrology and some possible effects. See my February 2022 Horoscope videos/podcasts for more details and also in the date specific notes towards the end of this written report:

 

1. More sweet aspects than salty and many of the aspects this month are ones that could go either way. How you see things and what you make of what comes is very key to how you experience the potentials!

 

2. Still out of heat of eclipse season - resting point to integrate the previous cycle and prepare for the next (which starts brewing mid-March)

 

An easing to anxiety and constant feeling of having finger in an electric socket that comes with the eclipse season

 

3. A split of retrograde and direct energies with Mercury going direct February 3 and shadow period stretching until February 24

 

Venus post retrograde shadow period is lessening more every day (and finishes March 2)

 

The first (and BEST) open launch period of the whole year spark open February 24 and then the time completely free from retrograde energy March 2- April 27

 

The only other period we have all year that will be completely free from personal planet retrograde energies is part of June, all of July and part of August.

 

Mercury goes into retrograde January 14 - February 3 - 10° of Aquarius back to 24° of Capricorn

 

Retrograde tips:

 

Expect confusion, uncertainty, difficulty in planning for the future, changes to current and future plans, and last-minute opportunities (I like to call LAST-MINUTE MAGIC).

 

Short-term plans, agreements, and commitments are favored.

 

Scheduling lightly is also a great idea.

 

Trying things one without permanent commitment is great now.

 

This period favors study and education programs, especially ones with flexibility.

 

With Venus retro and it post transit shadow:

Money, love, beauty, self-esteem, aesthetics topics from the past coming up again.

 

Avoid major decisions that are not easily changeable along these fronts unless it is easily changed, flexible, not an issue if you change your mind. Big purchases can be made and sometimes great deals can be found at this time but there are things to know about the potentials (see video below).

 

It is a great time for low budget fix-up’s/tune-up’s that are easily changed or adjusted.

 

Experimentation is wonderful for this time.

4.  Unusually long stretch of Capricorn energy - Mercury, Venus, and Mars

A time of accomplishment, manifestation, tedious projects, expanded focus

 

 

5. Aquarius energies - Sun and Mercury - bring focus on the greater good, connecting with others to reach mutual goals, friendships, technology and other innovative solutions, and sudden insights

 

 

6. Jupiter in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus

 

We have been getting shellacked for years from the difficult connections between outer planets but now we finally have a SWEET combination. The dates of greatest connection are February 17-21 but the positive manifestation potential is also very strong from mid-January through mid-March.

 

Here are some things to know to help you make the most of the potentials of the Jupiter and Uranus Kiss:

 

~ The power of quiet and rest could reveal itself in amazing ways

~ Stepping away from an issue or pattern could reveal sudden, powerful, and permanently life-changing information and outcomes

~ Daring to do something different could work in a major way

~ Indulging in a crazy idea (as long as it isn’t reckless or dangerous) can work out fabulously, especially if it “feels” like it has special substance or relevance for you

~ Artistic endeavors could take on special significance

~ Psychological and other “inner” work could reap expanded rewards

~ Changing your perspective could change your life in an instant and permanently

~ Sudden healings of addictions or fast clearing of fear or anxiety

~ Innovation and intuition can mingle in fascinating and life-changing ways

 

Sweet boosts are more likely on or around these days: 4, 8, 11, 16, 17, 23, 24

Drama or stress are more likely in the days around: 3, 4, 6, 11, 16, 24

February 1 -- New Moon at 12° Aquarius (Chinese New Year) — This New Moon brings themes of innovation, idealism, community, and social progress, presenting you with opportunities to clearly envision the most desirable future for all involved. It is also likely to bring opportunities to develop greater social fulfillment and cooperation, making this the perfect time to set intentions around creating this exciting future through collective efforts. Just be sure to allow multiple perspectives to operate independently within the whole. Not everyone needs to believe the same things in order to be on the same team. Even those with little in common can work towards the same goal. Inspiration can bring people together like few things can. Imagine what you could do to inspire people. A conjunction with Saturn can bring a harshness to the manifestation though some kind of reality check or criticism. Alternatively, it could manifest as something important and long-term gelling into place in a wonderful way. February 3 -- Mercury Goes Direct -- As Mercury goes direct, the chaos of the retrograde accelerates for a few days then starts to subside. It will take until February 24 for Mercury to regain its usual strength and the things to be cautious of during the retrograde still stand until this time but to a lessening degree every day up until then. Once Mercury has recovered all of its marbles, communication may become easier, technology may begin to behave more predictably, and you may begin to regain clarity regarding your direction. The last week of February starts to opens up our next awesome (and the BEST of the whole year) launch phase!

 

February 4 -- Mars in Capricorn Sextile Jupiter in Pisces -- The Sun Conjunct Saturn in Aquarius -- Under the influence of the sextile, your sense of vitality and well-being are likely to increase, which may lead you to successful action. Happiness becomes a more concentrated force in your decision making, and independence becomes more of an objective, making desirable outcomes more likely. The conjunction may leave you feeling somewhat detached from others, or generally aloof, but the former transit is likely to take center stage. I love this time for beautiful balance between logic and intuition and action combined with sentiment. Key people may come in (or back in) in the days around today.

 

February 6 -- Mars in Capricorn Square Chiron in Aries -- Mars square Chiron in Aries is not an easy transit, and its placement in Capricorn registers as nothing short of oppressive.  However, this is an excellent opportunity to question the validity of your more automatic instincts. This transit is all about moving from the victim state to the victor state, but this is an inside job. As such, this kind of victory doesn't require any external competition or domination. It's all about using higher principles to overcome lower ones. Personal responsibility and accountability are essential.

 

February 8 -- Mars in Capricorn Trine Uranus in Taurus -- This transit brings a spontaneous and progressive influence to the more rigid themes of Taurus and Capricorn.  Loosening and lightening up Taurus and Capricorn is a complicated process. In result, you might be suddenly drawn to very technical subjects. If you follow this inkling, you may uncover an epiphany or two. Calculated risks could win big now. This is an aspect that increases the odds of happy surprises :)

 

February 11 -- Mercury Conjunct Pluto in Capricorn -- This transit could trigger the unravelling of an unworthy support system. Perhaps this may happen through the illumination of falsehoods. A sudden uncovering of the truth. The important thing is that this dispelling of the illusion will leave a gap, a container to be filled with something real. Perhaps this will be the perfect opportunity to speak up, to express the truth, to fill the void with the light of reality.  Criticism is a key word that come up now. This could be used for good though, if applied to tedious tasks such as editing or other feats that require great focus. Big news could come in now.

 

February 16 -- Full Moon at 27° Leo -- Venus Conjunct Mars in Capricorn -- Pleasure and play are likely to become major themes on this day due to both of these aspects.  True desires can easily be revealed, and the subject of loose morals can arise in conversation.  It will be important to keep your long term plans and highest intentions in mind on this day. If you act within reason, this can be a very high pleasure, low cost experience. Honesty, with yourself first and foremost, will be the glue that holds everything together.

 

Leo is the literal sign of drama (like from the acting/dramatic arts standpoint) and as such, the combination of the full moon and this fiery energy can bring BIG DRAMA (for better or worse). Topics involving love, romance, pregnancy, children, and taking center stage will come front and center. It is a time when you are more likely to be seen, just make sure it is for the reasons and in the way that you want. February 17 -- Jupiter in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus -- This transit is about change and innovation as it pertains to your relationship with the collective.  Thinking outside the box will be rewarded, and your intolerance for the overly tedious, mundane, and inefficient will push you in the right direction, even if you still feel a sense of sentimental attachment to the way things used to be. You may benefit from actively seeking out a new way of enjoying yourself that inspires others at the same time. Some very helpful advice to make the most of this aspect is to remember the power of quiet and rest to reveal hidden solutions. This is a time when the power of the psyche can be visible in very tangible ways. Changing your perspective can instantly change your life!

 

February 23 -- Mars in Capricorn Sextile Neptune in Pisces -- This favorable angle between Mars and Neptune is likely to bring an intuitive or psychic boost to the efforts of both Pisces and Capricorn.  Capricorn desires sustainable structure, and Pisces desires emotional and spiritual freedom.  Be on the lookout for ways you might be able to increase your freedom, and enhance the richness of your experience, through an increase in structure, discipline, and diligent practice.

 

February 24 -- Mercury in Aquarius Sextile Chiron in Aries -- Venus in Capricorn Sextile Neptune in Pisces -- Mercury in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus -- This day carries themes of beauty, pleasure, spiritual insight, emotional freedom, and course correction. The square is likely to illuminate something you have been misunderstanding or over-simplifying regarding reality versus the hypothetical ideal. However, this will come about as a gentle, corrective force in combination with the sextiles. Mercury in Aquarius's sextile to Chiron in Aries in combination with the sextile between Venus and Neptune implies that this correction has something to do with a long-endured obstacle standing between you and your spiritual vitality. Perhaps a false perception you have held onto for too long. When this obstacle is cleared up, it will be immensely gratifying.  If this doesn't get resolved immediately under this transit, perhaps at least you will be turned in the right direction, which would feel good!
